Honest/Genuine Opinion…Roaches.
My family and I were extremely excited to stay in this home. The house looked just like the pics with the interior needing some updates/replacements from wear and tear of frequent traffic. We enjoyed our stay and made the most of it. I honestly hate having to leave this review with anything negative, but it is an honest one. I’m hoping this will be helpful to the host and future guests. It’s about a 45min-1hr drive from MCO airport, 45mins from Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure, 30mins from Disney Springs, 40mins from Gatorland, 30 mins from Disney but it takes about 1hr+ to get back no matter the time of day/night due to the exit being backed up as it’s one way in/out from construction. For a home that sleeps 15+ you are only allowed 5 parking passes anything over that will be towed. 2 vehicles max in the driveway and the other 3 can park on the street in first come first serve spaces. The cell tower service was not a good one. The moment we entered the resort cell service completely vanished and the WiFi was not strong enough to accommodate the large party of electronics. Upon arrival there was trash left outside in the driveway by housekeeping. The home appeared to be cleaned, however there was food from the previous guest left in the fridge and freezer. The carpet was a bit stained and dated with a moderate scent of mildew. You’re only provided 1 roll of toilet tissue for each bathroom, 2 towels in each bathroom w/ no wash clothes, no paper towels, 1 laundry detergent pod for the week, and no trash bags. Luckily we found extra colorful towels in the laundry room we assumed we’re pool towels. My parents ended up having to go to the super Walmart to purchase sheets and a throw blanket, they were not able to sleep in their bed due to what appeared to be sheets that wasn’t cleaned with a big yellow stain on it. The pool was very nice and clean, my children loved being able to see the little lizards and frogs that would visit on the outer portion of the fence. We rented the 4 burner grill for the week, we used it once for a few hotdogs before it stopped working as it didn’t come with a full gas tank or drip pan. Lastly roaches……..upstairs but mainly downstairs they like to come out at night, as soon as you turn the lights on you can see them scatter. Overall, again we enjoyed our stay just providing an honest review to hopefully help the owners and future guests.
