I booked this hotel and paid in full. I arrived in the morning after a 20-hour flight and just wanted to rest. However, the hotel canceled my reservation without my permission. Their reason was that I didn’t respond to their message while I was on the plane. They didn’t care that I was unable to reply during the flight. They only gave me a partial refund with a cancellation fee. When I rebooked directly at the hotel, the staff told me they would match the original price I had paid. But when I returned later to check in, they said they couldn’t match that price. After some discussion, they eventually agreed to match it. We then brought up the cancellation fee from the previous booking, since the issue wasn’t caused by us — we simply couldn’t respond while flying. However, the staff’s response was, “Do you want to cancel your booking again?” I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re taking a long flight. If they can’t reach you for any reason, they may cancel your booking without your permission.

Rooms are very clean. Though the bathroom was small, it has everything in it and the rain shower. Mattress are kind of hard and firm even the pillows but its alright I guess. The whole property was clean and everything was provided from slippers to toiletries. Breakfast was delicious. Theres free locker on site even after checkout. Subway access is just outside the building. Walking distance to shopping areas and the famous dotonbori.

I stayed for 7 Nights in a Single Bed smoking Room. Check in was very quick and friendly assisted by English speaking staff. The room was small (Japanese business Hotel) but clean and comfy (bed a little hard). Breakfast was a little on the light side. Limited western options. Very crowded between 8 and 9 am. The best part is the location. Close to Dotonbori and also all train lines straight at the hotel. I can highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come back!

No frills with all your basic needs met. Stellar location! luggage storage a plus in case you need to store plugged before or after check in and out! The family room was fantastic! a bigger big for a couple and 2 twins with two full bathrooms! very thoughtfully laid out! Would recommend!!

ROOM SMELLED AWFUL AND LIKE CIGARETTES. We are currently checked in at this hotel, and the room that was given to us smelled so bad, specifically cigarettes, and it’s giving us the worst headache. We asked the front desk if they can give us another room, and they said we can just spray it with an air freshener. This was honestly the worst experiences in Japan so far. ALSO, there are two of us in the room and they only have one pillow on the bed. We then asked the front desk staff for an extra one, and they said they don’t have any stock. So they wanted us to SHARE ONE PILLOW? This is just ridiculous for a hotel to not have a stock of this basic needs. Do not book this hotel if you care about cleanliness and are sensitive to bad odour. Also don’t be surprised if they cheap out on providing pillows.
