Room not very well equipped. We love the resort here and have stayed here often, but this specific room was missing a can opener, a wine opener, any blankets(we nearly froze). Glass door wouldnt lock and we had a toddler.

Could have been better

Moldy shower curtain. Bugs. Parking garage had lots of nails. I got a flat tire. Staff was very rude and not helpful. Tv in bedroom was confusing and we could not even get it to turn on.

Summer Vacay at the Shores.

Perfect for a family of 4. Unit was clean and had everything we needed. We liked it so much we booked another unit for a couple more days. Elevators aren’t bad if you avoid the breakfast and dinner rush. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall very happy.

There were a few bad reviews so was hesitant to book but booked because great price, everything that was Complained about before seems to be taken care of! We had a wonderful experience. Only complaint would be the early check in I know nobody stayed in room the day before us i really think we should be e been able to get an early check in but maybe was to much work for vaca to text us and we waited till 4pm.

Vacay 2022

The condo was efficient enough. We have stayed in worse so it wasn’t too bad. We saw a few live roaches and a few dead. There was mold in the bathroom. The dryer def needs some attention. I don’t do laundry on vacation but we needed clean towels and it took 10 rounds before they were dry. If I had kids I wouldn’t choose this condo but for us adults it worked.

Never given a bad review ever, until now.

This property was dirty when we walked in at check-in. The TV’s didn’t work, the shower curtain was hanging by a thread, the dryer does not work. We had to hang our wet clothes over all the chairs to air dry. The carpet in the bedroom was so filthy, I refused to walk barefoot on it. The place is run down and needs a ton of work. Has roaches crawling on the kitchen counters. We called about the TV’s and shower curtain and someone dropped off batteries for the remote and rings for the curtain. Batteries did not fix as I told them the TV did not get any channels. It’s a cable issue not a remote issue. I did not switch out the shower curtain rings either because I’m on vacay, I’m not the homeowner or mgmt. I should not have to do that for them. Overall the worst condo I’ve ever stayed in. Let me say, I have never in my life complained about a vacay property but this one was awful. DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this one.

Great Location

Great location and We had a blast but the room could have been a little more kept up. The curtain rod was broken in the bedroom and the dryer did not work very well but other than that we had a blast.

This condo was disgusting.

This condo is disgusting. I don’t think the floors have ever been mopped and the carpet in the bedroom was pure filth! Our feet were black from walking around on it. Definitely not worth paying what the owners are asking per night! Pictures on the internet are NOT what you get in person!

We enjoyed our stay there was just a few things we didn't like but it wasn't nothing that was a deal breaker. I would recommend taking bath towels from home bc there was only 2. And we bought plastic spoons and fork bc there wasn't enough for everyone and we only had 6 people. The dryer also sucks so I would plan to take dirty clothes home and hang everything else up to dry while your there

Overall great visit

Room and location were great. Dryer needs work.. takes at least 2 cycles maybe 3 to dry anything. WiFi very spotty. Didn’t work most of the time we were there. No potholders for the oven - small but annoying. Overall would definitely stay again because great location and view!

Unit 710 could definitely use some work!

Our feet were filthy black within 30 minutes of taking our shoes off, we had no tv for 2 days, pray only 2 people want to eat cereal as there were only two spoons and 4 forks, don’t order pizza and expect to hear a doorbell (it’s broken), the walls were filthy, don’t expect to dry your clothes(it’s broken as well), and don’t expect to get anywhere on the elevators quickly because one of two was broken for most of the stay.

Grungy but did the job.

The condo was in disrepair. It needs a facelift. The bedding was very worn and felt icky, I chose to sleep on the couch. It was sufficient to get away for a few days at an affordable price. If I were to return to this condo I would bring my bedding with me.

Disappointing experience

We have stayed in PCB for 8 years now. This is our 2nd year at Shores of Panama We payed the down pmt and when I got a notice that the 2nd payment was due I tried to contact the owner to use a different credit card. No answer. Got a notice with the checkin info and found out it was at 4 I reached out to the owner about early checkin. No answer. We arrived we went to the room and the door was not locked. We went in and found the place basically clean but there were only 2 bath towels. We called the number we were give (no contact info for the owner) and reached VACASA. No info was given about vacasa upon booking, just VRBO and the mystery owner. They said they would have towels sent right away. A few hours later no towels. Called again. Will get them right away. Day 2 no towels. Called a 3rd and 4th time and got them at 5 pm on day 2. Only bath towels. No washcloths or hand towels. Asked for them and they acted like that was a weird request but said they would bring them in the morning. We got them midway through day 4. Used the oven then realized there was no oven mitt/potholders. This was when we only had 2 bath towels. Had to use one of those to get the food out of the oven. The dishwasher had standing brown water in the bottom. I mentioned it on call #3 and they said they would send someone right away. No one came so we ran the dishwasher a few times to get the dirty water to drain. There is mold on the shower curtain and the wall (I have pics). There is rust on the shower curtain rod. There were no dish washing supplies or kitchen towels so we bought those at walmart - 2 towels, 2 potholders, and a mitt for $5. I left them as a gift because we flew in and didn't take them with us. No sample size laundry detergent like in most places. No hand soap in 2 bathrooms, just 2 small bars. The extra pillows in the closet did not have pillowcases so we couldn't use them. There was a broken umbrella in the corner of the laundry area, but no chairs or anything for beach access. The place we stayed in last year had chairs, a working umbrella and beach towels. We were provided with a Wifi password, but the Wifi was OPEN to everyone and terrible. No instructions for the coffeemaker. I bought filters but those didn't work. I used it without them and there were grounds in my cup. Get a Keurig. This owner is well below VRBO standards. I don't know about vacasa because I have never heard of them. Find a property with an owner that is responsive.

Terrible.

First of all we didn’t have enough towels for everyone there, the mattress cover on the pull out couch had food all over it, And I had no sheets for it... and was broke. I tried to contact via app(which only would do email) and I had no response. The WiFi wouldn’t work 80% of the time.. So room wise I was totally disappointed. On to the condo, the security guard outside was completely rude (multiple times to multiple people), there isn’t enough elevators for that building.. and half the time they are broke down. The fire alarm was pulled almost daily and people literally scream all hours of the night off the balcony’s. We will never book here again. Good luck if you do!
