This place is nice...not great but for a beach front property it's nice. We stayed on the beach side, reviews are not very good for the property across the street. Our room was nice, clean to the most part. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean, carpet was clean. However, the balcony was sticky so doesn't appear they clean that often, and we did have a little sand in our bed. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and understand that the fine, white sand on the Gulf is really hard to completely get out of sheets. The alternative is that they didn't change the sheets from the last guest which would be really awful. The grounds on the property are well maintained.
We stayed on the beach the whole time so didn't use the pool, hot tub or visit the tiki bar, but all of it looked in very nice shape and clean. The beach in fron th of the property is awesome and there is a beach chair service right in front...not associated with the hotel. Ask about any discounts they may have, we paid $40/day for two chairs and an umbrella. If you're local probably best to bring your own, espeiclaly since they put them up at 5:00pm...but they were out there very early, about 7:00am.
Not impressed with the staff, pretty blah with zero smiles amongst them. Never was asked if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out and they really couldn't care less when we told them that on our 2nd day housekeeping took our used towels and trash (which didn't need it) and replaced neither. Overall, decent.
