Our family stay was amazing. No complaints. They made sure we had clean towels every day. Amenities all seemed to be well kept and clean. We had a great time and were very satisfied. Will definitely stay again.

Buyer Beware

Let me preface my review with a comment – I understand this is an older property, but it is not only showing its age, it’s also showing a lack of proper maintenance and care from the company that owns it. Now to our review. We arrived the afternoon of August 13th. The first thing we noticed was the lack of parking at the property. When we went to check in we were given a “pass” that would permit us to park across the street (good luck finding a spot). We paid for an ocean view room, and went up to the sixth floor and walked in to a room temperature of 79 degrees (see photo). The “air conditioner” is one of those old units one finds in a window, and to say it didn’t work very well is an understatement. I noticed under the unit, there was a lot of corrosion, damage and mold (see photo). During our two night stay, the coldest we could get the room was 75 degrees. We also noticed the carpeting was pretty old and dirty (see photo), and after showering that night, after 5 minutes my wife’s feet were dirty from the carpet (see photo). The toilet was loose and one would have to exercise caution when sitting on it because it rocked back and forth even with the slightest movement. The elevators were dirty the whole time we were there. Many of these issues could be fixed for not a lot of money, unfortunately, it looks like the company that owns this hotel really doesn’t care as long as people keep coming. I will say this – the view was amazing, too bad the hotel wasn't.

The Staff was great, very helpful; convenient the parking was easily accessible right across the Street. There may be a reason but there was not any dish soap for cleaning dishes. The view was great right at the beach and easy acess to the beach. We definitely would come again and stay here.

Not very clean. Parking is a pain. Pool is disgusting. So many people swam in that pool and it was cloudy and gross. I told this to the management. During my 4 night stay, the pool water remained dirty and cloudy. The hotel offered free ice cream in their little shopone day, but the line was so long since they only had one person serving the ice cream…I just left because I didn’t want to waste my beach time. There were never any supplies in the lobby bathroom during my 4 night stay. The beach is ok. Not super clean but decent for the price. I would not stay here again.

The first night of my stay awful. I was very tired from my trip and decided to go to bed early. Went to bed at 8:30pm and within minutes, the people in the next room had a child screaming, crying and banging eiter doors aor drawers. Yhe mom kept yelling and cussing at yhe child. Finally after midnight, I went out to sleep in my car until it was to hot to stsy in the car any longer. Finally went back to the room and it was thankfully quiet. But still, an awful night sleep due to the bed being so soft and uncomfortable. I think that if you stayed in yhe main building, it was more like a resort, while staying across the street was more like a poorly dated motel that no one cared about. The pool behind the main building had lots of algae on the sidewalls and some of the pool noodles. Was gross. The only thing that I thought wax nice was that they did have BBQ's for you to use and nice accessibility to the beach. I would not recommend this place at all.

Get the Suite! It’s so worth it! I wished I would have brought my pillow tho!!! Overall great! I personally liked the location, not to close and not to far from what we needed! The staff was awesome! Will return.

We had an amazing stay at Palmetto Beachfront Hotel in West Panama City Beach! The spacious room was perfect for us—comfortably big with all the cozy touches we needed. Good Stay and Clean

When I booked this, I had no idea we would be across the street at the other building. The booking said “across street” but on a map, the only building listed as the Palmetto is the main building. Other than that, the room was very clean. Never saw any bugs. Sheets were clean and no stains on them. Water pressure in the shower was great. The outdoor pool was very clean, but the chairs were kind of dirty looking and stained. The tiki bar was closed down. It’s a close drive to the Pier Park area, but most of the restaurants there were crazy expensive. I definitely recommend walking to the McGuire’s pub by the hotel for food and drinks one night.

It was inexpensive, very short walk to the 24hr beach/pool and hot tub. Close to stores for groceries and souvenirs. Great beach, saw a lot of fish and the water was perfect.
