I stayed at the resort 3 nights and my room was only cleaned one night. I had to call for fresh towels twice which took hours. We came with a group and their rooms were cleaned daily with turn down service. It was quite disappointing to have a pile of dirty used towels remaining in my room for two days. I had higher expectations

I really can’t believe Hyatt has put their name on this project. It’s dirty and outdated. The prices are incredibly high and the rooms are all the same. Employees are nice over all but the preferred club is nothing but waist of money. Roof leaking when we were eating and toilets are disgusting.

Great property! You get to relax and stay in nature but with all the luxury amenities. The property does a great job of having constant transportation available to move around the grounds since it’s so big. Loved our room and the quiet pool area was very relaxing with beautiful views of the ocean. All meals were great! Favorite restaurants were Aqua and Portofino. We also loved their buffet and that it had authentic Costa Rican food as options. As for the staff they are all top notch. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, offered great service and always helpful. A huge shout out to Andre who really provided excellent service the days we laid out by the beach.

The hotel’s location is truly beautiful, with stunning views of the beach and surrounding nature - definitely a highlight of the stay. However, my experience with early check-in was disappointing. I paid extra for the 9 a.m. early check-in option, but upon arrival, I was told my room wasn’t ready. Understandable in the early morning, so I went for breakfast and then a swim to pass the time. By noon (over 3.5 hours later), I checked back with the front desk, only to be told the room still wasn’t ready but “soon.” I ended up waiting in the lobby for nearly four more hours before finally getting access to my room - around 4 p.m., which is regular check-in time. What made the situation frustrating was watching dozens of other guests (40+ by my count) check in, receive their keys, and head to their rooms while I sat waiting - despite having paid for early access. It seems there’s a lack of oversight in how early check-in is managed, and unfortunately, it left me feeling like the option is more of an upsell gimmick than a guaranteed service. The property itself is wonderful, but if you’re considering paying for early check-in, I’d recommend skipping it and just planning to arrive later in the day - or grab lunch nearby before heading to the hotel.

Loved the food options. 2 different pools, one with a lot of activities and one more quiet. The staff was outstanding. Big shout out to Gina, our server in the Cafe and Alba our hostess. Drivers Heiner and Nelson made our transportation around the resort personable and enjoyable. We were treated as friends rather than guests.
