Arrived and our beds weren’t split. Told them and he hold us to do it ourselves and we saw the yellow sheets underneath. We only had one comforter, so he gave us a blanket with sawdust on it from the back. After the first night they made our beds normal, but they were stained again. The next night they didn’t changed the stained sheets. Also you can hear everything in the other rooms.

I stayed here with my best friend and our daughters for a quick weekend trip. We shared the room because we figured we could manage for 2 nights. The location was great lots of shops and food near by and walking distance to the mall and transportation options. The space is very small especially by american standards for 4 ppl. But we managed for the experience of our mommy daughter trip. Like getting in the elevator with 2 ppl and luggage is impossible. You also have to leave the key at the front when youre not in the room which Ive never experienced and that felt odd. They say its for safety and so you dont lose it while youre out. Of most concern, we all left with bug bites and saw bugs in the room which were recorded and shown to the front desk along with the markings all over our arms. It could have been a language barrier but it was initially denied that the recording was bugs, blamed on us and then we were offered a free breakfast which we passed on.

Hotel has a good location - walking distance to an abundance of brasseries & specialty shops selling French delicacies including cheeses, pates, breads, pastries and wines. Area had a nice local vibe to it and it was also 20 min walking distance to Gare De L'Est and even closer was Montmartre area. Staff on reception were very helpful with any enquiries. Room was quite small especially the bathroom but not an issue if you are out and about sightseeing for most of the day.

Maybe food for a single, light-packing traveler?

The room was fine. Very cramped for 4 people (it had 1 Double and 2 single beds). The mattresses were futons. Our main issue was the elevator. It holds max 2 people, and it took 3 trips to get up 3 floors with our luggage. In the morning, we couldn’t get in the elevator because it kept getting called to floors above us and then there was no room when it came down to our floor.

Terrible staff

The front desk person is condescending and rude. He is unhelpful and I believe is challenged with his abilities to communicate irrespective of language barrier. Additionally I am noticing they charged me for the stay while it was already prepaid through Expedia. I will be disputing those charges with my bank.

Loved our balcony.

They have room keys so you need to depend on the staff to get into your room each time you come back into the hotel. The rooms was very nice, shower really good. Air con unit in the room. Beautiful balcony in our room was fantastic. We had a fabulous visit.
