This property was really beautiful and relaxing. Only issue was that we were there for two days and the first day we went on a day trip and asked for our room to be cleaned up - bed made, towels changed, and maybe a sweep and garbage removal - basically maid services and it was not done. Had to phone the front desk for new towels as we had to clean the floor (removed sand and dirt) ourselves with the towels and had to make the bed up. As well, the shower curtain needs to be changed as it was moldy/musty smelling when the shower started.

Great stay

It’s a beautiful property, the only bad thing is the pool opens a little too late, only at 10 am, but checkout is at 11, so there was no time to try the pool in the morning, anyways , we are always coming back, breakfast is nice and staff is always available to help.

Girls Getaway

We had a fabulous time at Tappattoo! Everyone at the resort or amazing, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food is delicious and the breakfast has a good variety to choose from. This is our 3rd time staying here and we will be back in the summer. See you then! 👍👍❤️

Second visit this winter, we love this place! Everything you need for a Muskoka vacation in summer or winter. Great breakfast included, nice rooms with views, lots of easy parking and great pool and sauna amenities. And WONDERFUL staff, they really do everything they can to accommodate any of your requests (certain rooms, firewood for the fire pits, outdoor equipment to loan such as snow shoes or fishing rods). We will be back!

We had never experienced a winter getaway before and we are so pleased with our first experience here at the Grand Tapatoo. Our room had a very comfy King sized bed and a great outdoor balcony for storing our cooler. We really enjoyed the fireplace and watching the snow fall outside our window while looking out at the frozen lake. The staff went over and above! When our coffee maker wasn’t working, Heather immediately came to our building with a new coffee maker and two freshly brewed coffees. Jesus, our server for dinner, ensured we were enjoying our meals, kept our drinks filled and had a very pleasant demeanour. Sunhil who oversees the breakfast buffet kept bringing coffee and extra creamers to our table. We also took advantage of swimming in the pool and sat outside one evening by one of the outdoor fireplaces. Overall, we relaxed, reconnected, and feel our romantic weekend away was wonderful. We hope to visit again in another season to maybe swim in the lake!
