It was wonderful to arrive in Philly and be able to check in early. The staff checked in via text and everything was smooth and pleasant. And when my friend needed coffee after the food service was closed, they even accommodated that. In addition, it's in a super central location.

Hotel rooms and public areas are clean and in good condition. Staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. In room entertainment system is very good. Access to dining options (both in hotel and immediately around the hotel) is excellent. Outside street noise heard inside the room was surprisingly loud and fairly constant.

Room rating would be a 3. It is a nice large room however minimal lighting so very dark. The bed frame bows when you sit on the end of the bed thus making a large metal sound when you get up from sitting and the basic television freezes about every 10 min in the evening. Other than that the staff is very kind.

The location is ideal to get around downtown Philly. The staff were pleasant and we always felt safe. The lobby is open and has no visual appeal. The rooms were clean and again seemed ordinary. We parked in the adjacent garage which was convenient.

I would have loved to give this hotel a perfect score BUT I was dissatisfied with the pillows provided in my junior suite. Unfortunately several of the pillows smelled like body odor so I called the hotel host and asked for replacements. Hotel had NONE to offer.
