Great property & cleanliness as well as breakfast. However, I gave rating of “okay” for several reasons; noticed & reported a male who was seated outside of pool area looking in watching children there; saw non-guests enter & use the pool & overheard how they frequently did this; homeless person sleeping under stairwell & later same man eating from the breakfast buffet.

When my home was getting repainted and recarpeted, I needed a temporary nest. Qualify Inn in Placentia was convenient to overseeing my redecorating in nearby Yorba Linda, as it was located near major thoroughfares. I chose it solely because of its affordability, thinking I could relocate to one of the pricier competitions if I didn't like it. To my surprise, I very much enjoyed it. My room was nicer than the pricier ones I had recently stayed in in NYC and Boston. I loved the abundant ingenious lamps allowing me to read in bed. Best of all were the friendly, responsive staff who coached me on setting up my new laptop.

Breakfast disappointment

For a low budget motel, this was above average. Clean. Front desk was great. We needed a roll away one night and they delivered it promptly. It was a full- size twin with a little headboard. We also loved that it is on a very quiet street. The first two floors open to the outdoors. The third floor rooms open onto an interior hallway. We stayed there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay. Didn't have time to try the pool, but it is outdoors and it was in the 60's when we were there. Breakfast was typical for this kind of hotel. EXCEPT, they have a sign in the breakfast room that says "Mon, Wed, Fri, biscuits and gravy." In both Friday and Monday the biscuits and gravy were gone by 8:15, and we were just told, "sorry, they are very popular." Okay, if they are so popular, MAKE MORE. Or don't say you will have them. Plenty of parking, and it is free. Room is decent size. We had a king room, and you have to have a king room to be able to fit a roll away in it.
