Ideal for couples, family with children and friends.
Vila da Praia is located near the beach (500 m) and also very close to Alvor village (easy access on foot). It is a private and secure condominium, with two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children and a pleasant garden. Outside the condominium there are restaurants, bars, supermarket, grocery, laundry, chemist, Sunday market and several other shops.
The apartment is in the 2nd floor, the building has an elevator with access to the underground parking.
Accommodation comprises one main bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with two single beds, living room with dining and sitting areas, one family bathroom with bathtub, one toilet bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine, dishwasher) and a balcony.
Air-conditioning is available in the living room and in the main bedroom.
Guests have free access to the swimming pools.
There are two adult bikes that can be used at your own risk.
To walk there are an elevated walkways that cross the sand dunes and mud flats of the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve. These pathways provide pleasant walks with scenic views over the estuary, which is a haven for bird life. The paths are wide enough to cycle along.
To eat there are a wide selection of restaurants in Alvor, that cover all styles of cuisine and dining. Restaurants include Portuguese, English, Indian, Chinese, Italian and Spanish. Eating out is significantly cheaper than back at home and the evening meal is an important part of the Portuguese day, therefore meals tend not to be rushed. Tipping is not compulsory but it is often expected as it helps to boost the meager wages of the waiting staff.
From Alvor it is very easy to visit the towns of Portimão and Praia da Rocha, as these two destinations are connected by the inexpensive local bus network. Portimão is a large residential city that has excellent shopping, a historic center and a pleasant harbor. Praia da Rocha is a busy and hectic resort town that is situated on a beautiful coastline. Praia da Rocha is the place to head to for a big party night out as the town is crammed full with themed bars and late night venues.

Great stay in Alvor

Had an excellent stay. Everything was as advertised. Perfect space for a couple. Had all necessary conveniences and amenities. Close to beach, grocery store and restaurants. Very clean and safe. Would definitely return.

Très bonne location

Nous avons loué cet appartement pour un séjour au printemps. Il est propre, bien situé avec centre ville et plage à quelques minutes à pied. Il est aussi bien équipé, le balcon est agréable et bien aménagé. Nous avons eu de bons contacts avec les propriétaires.aveclespropriétaires.
