The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers very polite and prompt with early am airport run. Close to airport. Rooms are old, overpriced and smelt like smoke though in a non smoking room. The hotel needs an update.

Stayed overnight after a late flight in. Lady working at the front desk was very nice and brought me up some breakfast items at night because I was starved and there are no food options nearby. It was very thoughtful of her- thank you! Other than that, make sure you call ahead to schedule your shuttle pick up from the airport! The shuttle does not run automatically unless ordered.

Front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and seemed recently refurbished. Bed sheets were THIN, but the bed was comfy and we slept great. Free airport shuttle was very convenient!

Pictures are very outdated of what hotel and room look like. Remote was cracked and broken front desk just taped it up and gave back. Shower drain was rusted, overall was very disappointing

The shuttle service and over all customer service was fantastic. Nice and friendly staff. The room was very clean. The furniture was out dated and dinged up but still the room was clean. Cons to my stay were the heater/ac unit vent was very dirty so i did not use it, the smoke detector was missing and the look of the sprinkler system had me questioning if it actually worked as parts of it dangled slightly from the ceiling. Overall though i was pleased with my stay, especially for the price and would use them again in the future.

I would give this property a five overall depending on what you were looking for! I didn’t get in to PDX until midnight and it was after 12:30 before I was even ready to be picked up. They were there within 10 minutes. Most places do not offer pick up after 11 or so and they will come pick you up till 2 AM. Staff was very kind. They offered me food because it was so late and asked me to let them know if I needed anything or once I got to my room. There is no elevator and the building is split level, but they carried my bag up to my room. Yes, the place is dated and could use remodeling but it was clean quiet great hot shower bed was comfortable. If you are going for the convenience to PDX and the price, this is it. I stayed at the red lion going out and it was noisy, had blackout curtains that didn’t block much of anything out, more expensive and not any nicer. I would definitely come back here again when traveling through PDX!

Fix your heater unit

The room was nice, bed was comfortable, but the heater in the room was so noisy I could not get a wink of sleep. I am dangerously close to falling asleep today, so much that I fear driving tonight to get dinner. I just had to get out of there and I am glad I did.

Overall, good value. Room was small, but clean. It had a good size refrigerator (that was VERY cold) and a microwave. Seemed to be an older building, but not dilapidated. Staff was courteous (wished us “Happy Valentines Day”) and allowed for late checkout (person in front of me had a flight cancelled and wanted a 12:00 checkout, which they accommodated). Airport shuttle was included, up to 10 passengers every half hour. Definitely not fancy, but also definitely worth staying there with an early flight from PDX.
