Really pleasantly surprised by our stay at Holiday Inn. Was expecting budget, but was really nice. Easy locatltion from train station (6 mins in a taxi), easy walk to the Cathedral where we were visiting for an event. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean, tidy and modern. Had a drink in the bar; good selection, polite staff. Had breakfast jn the morning; variety of foods and drinks (even had decaf which is great). Would return ajd recommend

The room had debris on the floor and one of the beds had a few hairs in it. We told reception when we were on our way out and they were very apologetic and changed our room - it was an upgrade. The new room was clean and there were no hairs in the bed! Unfortunately there was no hot water in the morning. We paid for parking but there were no spaces in the carpark when we arrived, however the hotel gave us a permit to use on the road. The hotel was conveniently located for the quays and was about a 10 minute walk.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel including my hotel room was clean and uncluttered on the downside my tv remote had lost its back to the battery compartment so if the batteries moved it did not work well otherwise a great stay

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. Friendly efficient staff, comfortable room, great pool and lovely breakfast. The only complaint would be we booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids - so they had a sofa bed to sleep on - it was really uncomfortable so they kept fidgeting around- very creaky and so none of slept really. Be good to upgrade those or put two double beds in. It didn’t spoil the stay.

Very nice hotel that I have stayed at previously but experienced a big negative change on breakfast from nice buffet to a single plate. Also room I stayed had bed lamp that used a socket connected to a wall switch which also controlled. overhead light rendering the bed lamp and charging socket unusable once overhead light goes off.
