The staff were very friendly, housekeeping was good. Food options were fine, typical of the style of hotel although the lack of service on a Sunday was inconvenient. A bonus is the free breakfast which is most welcome. British Car Auctions adjacent to the hotel created a bit of noise early in the mornings. Hotel car park lighting is very bright, shining through the curtains on the 2nd floor (could they not be directed towards the ground?). It is in a good location for an overnight stay when travelling north/south and with easy access to Blackpool, the Trough of Bowland and the Lake District is a good value place for a holiday. Happy with the venue and will use it again.

Rooms spacious nice modern bathroom, breakfast plentiful, staff helpdul and pleasant. Only negative for us bed a little uncomfortable.

Clean and convenient for transport links

Pros: Clean and great location for motorway. Good breakfast.
Location: Unfortunately didn't have time to explore location but it was great for the motorway.
Stayed overnight to break up the drive to Scotland. Very clean and comfortable - great breakfast. Two dogs loved it as much as we did (but they didn't get any breakfast!).

Convenient for a short stay

Pros: Very convenient for all the motorways in Lancashire.
Cons: House keeping, as above.
Holiday Inn’s are usually more aware of the details than this particular one. Firstly the staff were very helpful the only let down were small things in the room. Firstly there were tea/coffee splash marks on some of the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom is poor, a bit like showering by candle light. Also in the bedroom I had one of the bedside light shades was smashed. This was also the case in another guest bedroom that a member of my party was staying in. These are only minor issues but so easily rectified......

briliant for a senior couple

I paid £55 for a room and was very pleased with it and to make things even better when I was booking in I was told it included breakfast as well which I really enjoyed. I would certainly book this hotel again and will be using Holiday Inn again THANK YOU for a wonderful stay

A Good Visit

Everything was good except that we did not like the open plan dining, lounge & reception area particularly the music which made conversation difficult. For this reason we chose to have dinner elsewhere.
