Online photos were nothing close to the room and lobby actual condition. Very misleading and quite frankly, marketing fraud. Room had cracks in walls, drains were slow, light bulbs burnt out in room, bathroom was dirty and needing maintenance, check out was horrible as the lady behind counter was chomping on gum, rude, had dirty used tissues on the counter, and was texting on her phone while I was trying to speak with her. To top it off the room was over $600 per night. Luckily, we stayed only one night. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my 54 year life.

I have stayed at the Provincetown Inn multiple times over the past few years and by far this was the best experience. Staff was great especially Kimoy at the front desk. It was great seeing all the improvements that were made at the Inn.

Not the right price point for what you get

Yes, it is a historical property, so things are not super modern, but, the sink in the bathroom was tiny, you could barely put your toothbrushes on it. For a property with beach and pool access, there wasn’t even a drying line in the shower for your suits. There was literally one outlet across the room. My husband had to unplug the lamp so he could use his cpap machine. The pool area and beach is nice and the only positive. We asked the staff about the shuttle into town. They told us we just had to ask them and they would call them to tell them we wanted it. We came and said okay, we are ready so please send for the shuttle, and only then they told us that it is on the half hour and it just left..but it was 5:27. Very frustrating. There was a huge centipede in the shower that fell from the ceiling. They gave us only 3 towels for a family of 4. We asked for more and none never came.

Lobby and pool were packed with men in speedos and naked running around. We were on family vacation with kids and this should have been disclosed as not family friendly. My wife and I don’t have a problem seeing this but our young kids should not see sexuality like this at a young age. Shame on this hotel for not disclosing the gay festival at their hotel!

The property was very run down and the rooms and bathrooms very dated. There was a couple of staff that actually said hello and smiled but the majority of the them were very rude and made us feel very unwelcomed. We did consider leaving but we had paid $1300 for 2 nights so we decided to tough it out. The location and the views from the room were the only positive for that property

First time in Provincetown it was awful. As soon as we arrived, we went to our room. I noticed there were dead, bloody mosquitoes on the ceiling above my head. I sent pictures to the front desk and complained and they said there were no other rooms available to move to. I had to move my bed to another place. I thought it was going to fall on my face. I have never experienced anything like it. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The Provencetown Inn is dirty and very expensive.

The hotel is going through renovation's so a little chaotic but what an amazing location and the little upgrades are nice. Most staff super friendly and helpful. Not all. The breakfast in the cool old bar is great and did I mention location.

Check in process: Around 2:00 Staff on duty said our room was not ready early because while it had been cleaned it needed to be inspected and the inspector went on break. At 3:00 we approached another reservation staff who said that while our room was still listed as not ready, she could check the room’s readiness, walked down the hall to do so, and returned to give us the room keys, saying that sometimes housekeeping does not inform them when a room is ready. We waited an hour longer than we likely needed to.
