Grand Sirenis

First of all. I was charged an additional $600 to modify the reservation because my 13-year-old son was classified as an adult. I find this excessive and unreasonable, especially given his age. This policy should be reconsidered to better reflect the realities of family travel. The buffet food was good. However, the Brazilian and Italian restaurants were quite disappointing. The room was okay needs some repairs, and the bed was comfortable. Despite some challenges, the employees were exceptionally friendly and made a sincere effort to deliver the best possible service.

For the money that I spent for me and my family will go on the trip I expected better customer service when it comes to calling the front desk. Anytime I have to call the front desk. I had to wait hours for someone to come and assist by speaking to the people face-to-face. Everyone was very lovely, polite, and helpful.

Although it was a good family resort, but there are some areas for improvement. 1- The bathroom was not in a good shape. While they cleaned the room daily but it was not in a good shape. I believe it was not about the cleaning, it may time to replace the tub, at least the silicons around it. I felt it was molded. 2- The bedding sheets didn't present freshness. I assume they needed to be retired. 3- the sliding door which split the rooms was not operational. 4- Daily snacks could be provided inside the room. 5- Coconuts were available almost everyday and nice people served them around the property in the wheelbarrow cards. I believe for this rank resort a better station with professional people is more appropriate to serve the drinks. 6- More electric cards can facilitate the resort internal logistic. 7- My mom has some mobility issue and we asked for wheelchair, it was not available. Based on the resort layout it is a must! 8- There could be a shade on the main access to support people when it is rainy or sunny. I enjoyed to be more wet, but not everybody. At the end, I liked the resort, but with some attentions it can improve the ranking. It has a lot of potentials.

The place is a selling point for membership. Beach very nice, food 3/5, personnel 2/5, pools too deep for children more than 80% of the entire pool are over 5feet.

El hotel necesita mas personal,nas limpieza. Las habitaciones necesitan mas limpieza cambio de matres,almohadas y rpa de cama estan muy Viejas y al ser blancas no se ven limpias. Personal de las barras de bebidas no son hamables te ignoran el trato no es bueno y la piscina muy profunda no hay donde sentarse dentro de la misma. Las areas no estan bien limpias.

Please do not waist your money in here. We booked our family vacation to stay at grand sirenis and it was beyond disappointing. The hotel facilities has not to do with the pictures posted. The smell around the facilities is horrible. It’s dirty everywhere. The food is just ok to survive. The water park is completely unsafe for young and older children. The pool is dirty everywhere. We stayed at ground floor room and for 2 night we got cockroaches in the bathroom. We booked a seven nights stay but we only stay 3 until we find a good hotel to move to. When we opened a claim about all the above with the hotel they denied to refund us the night we haven’t used. This hotel can not be classified as 4/5 stars not even 3 starts. Please book yourself another hotel around punta cana. They do have nice ones.
