A very funky smell in the room. Travelling partner across the hall had no smell in his room. No AC so hot. If you get the room by the hall entrance like I did ask to be moved. Noisy and smelly! For the money ok I guess.

The rooms had a strong unpleasant smell, which really affected the comfort of our stay and while the amenities were well maintained, they were shared, which wasn’t ideal. The check-in process was also quite slow. Overall, not the best experience.

I appreciated the affordable price of the stay. However, our room was located next to the toilet, and we could occasionally hear a loud noise when the sink was used at night. While the sheets looked clean, they had a noticeable human scent. I also didn’t receive clear instructions on how to collect the keys, such as which pavilion to go to or how to reach the reception without already having a key.

We arrived at 5pm. Entire building was too hot, smelled badly. There is no ventilation in rooms, no fans available. Left window open for 4 hrs in an attempt to cool space down while we went to visit a family member, made no difference. Room was still unbearably hot, we left at 915pm to find alternative accommodations.

an excellent hosteling / university stay choice at a budget. the room was clean as was the shared bathrooms, quarters are from an earlier time for sure, but we got a room on the north side and was able to take advantage of the windows to keep the room cool. we enjoyed the use of the pool table, and the pyramid was in walkable distance. check-in was great, and parking wasn't an issue.
