The hotel was beautiful. Staff was professional and prompt, very helpful. Its close to the bus stop to get to Reykjavik. I would recommend.

Fine for a night

Rooms are small and the bathroom is dated but bed was comfortable. We were just there to rest before an early flight but unfortunately the fire alarms went off twice around 10pm and walls are thin so you can hear conversations in the hall and your neighbors showering. Not restful like we wanted unfortunately. Staff was pleasant. Please note if you drive parking is limited and we had to park in a lot behind a gas station and drag our bags because there is no loading or unloading zone we were told that was for taxis only by staff.

Perfect place to stay in Iceland.

Nice hotel close to the airport.

As a family of 4 sharing one room for one night, it was very clean and enough space. We especially loved the instant coffee and Nespresso options in the morning as we had to catch an early flight in the morning.

Overall, it was an amazing hotel. The restaurant had the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. This really amazed and shocked me. I’m from New Orleans which has the best food in the world and I’m difficult to please. The staff tried hard to answer questions and do things like order taxis. This is needed there as Uber doesn’t exist there.

We booked a family hotel room and it was a Saturday night. We only booked as it was close to the airport. Unfortunately the family room was on the ground floor next to a busy nightclub and so we got virtually no sleep. People were banging on the window, arguing, shouting and singing outside our endow to the early hours. Our children were frightened. We had to be up at 5am. In addition the “blinds” don’t cover the windows so people can see in when you put the light on so there is a total lack of privacy. The blinds are also not black out and there is very bright street lighting outside so it was also very light. We reached out to Expedia for.a refund and was told it was non-refundable. This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
