Overall, we had a pleasant stay at a good value and recommend this place for your stay in Rome. When we arrived, the staff pleasantly greeted us. There was an unexpected issue with water pressure but the owner was present all day to fix it as quickly as possible. Further, the owner had excellent communication with us through WhatsApp before and during our stay. The bed was also very comfortable with clean linens.

This guest house was one of a kind! My wife and I traveled to Italy for two weeks, we started in Rome in Donna margarita, we arrived late at night, the manager Giorgio was a real pleasure!! He let us check in late he directed us what to do and left us a key so we can check in. The location is amazing right by everything. 5 mins walk from main train station Termini, the rooms were clean and well taken care of!! Giorgio helped us so much with everything we needed even after we left the room I still contacted him for every little question and he was extremely helpful with finding directions and laws that we needed to know he informed me about a lot of things that no other place ever did!! The service and the rooms are AMAZING!!! I would definitely go back there when I’m back in Rome!! I rate this place 10/10!!!!!!

We didn’t like the bed

The place has a great location. Jay is the person who gave us the keys and explained to us everything about the hotel and was also super friendly. The room had a good size, but the bed was terrible. The mattress was super thin. I could even feel the springs but the most horrible thing is that they were two twin beds next to each other, I was with my husband and if one of us wanted to go to the center of the bed we couldn’t because there was a hole in the middle. Unfortunately the only thing that I can recommend about this place is the location and Jay. But not the beds.

Nothing unique disappointed that we had thought we’d already paid then had to pay on arrival. Client wasn’t expecting us even though we’d followed directions on Expedia. Have to pay 20 euros for cleaning on top. Won’t book through Expedia again and even client said use another website which was poor.

Great location, spacious room and super clean.

Hotel is in a super convenient location! Our room was spacious and very clean. I was a little nervous staying at a hotel without 24hr reception; but Donatella was very nice and she made it very easy for us to coordinate our arrival. The breakfast provided in the morning was really good as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if in Rome again, we will definitely come back.

BEST PLACE! LOVED

It's hard to find and we had hard times check-in, as there is no such reception. Was hard to contact the person and hard to communicate. So if you are a late arrival, please do communicate earlier! Other than that, EVERYTHING WAS VERY SATISFIED. So quiet, so clean, very good location, good Wifi.. Eddie was the best person to talk to! He is so nice as well. Our family loved to stay here. Thank you again.

Great location & very nice room. However the Wi-Fi was intermittent, especially late afternoon & evening which was disappointing as we were a long way from home & needed to keep in touch. Also no glasses were supplied & the plastic coffee/tea cups need cleaning. The concierge downstairs was very helpful in calling us a taxi as taxi phone service was in Italian. Much appreciated.

Great spot in rome

We were attending a friends wedding in Rome and needed a place near the venue. The hotel was great value for money, clean and bright! There was a little fridge for so we could get some cheese and wine for little snacks. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Eataly, just around the corner did coffee and croissants to go!

This is a fairly new establishment in a very great location. It is nicely designed and furnished. We occupied the 'suite', which included a stove, a fridge, a dinning table, a dishwasher and washing machine for clothes. We did not have a need for these as we were there for a very short period, but could come in handy for those on a longer stay. The Wifi signal was strong. The location was absolutely great, close to everything no issues with noise. The only person we met and interacted with was Eddie, the caretaker and he was pleasant and always very helpful. We would not hesitate staying hear in the future.

Great location and size for the price!

Our stay was amazing! It's not your typical hotel as far as amentities go, but it was perfect for the price. It's more of an apartment style but a front desk attendant is there during the day and then available by phone- Eddie was awesome! There was a bus stop 2 min from the hotel that you could get almost anywhere. Other than that it was anout a 15 min walk to all the different sites which was perfect. Area felt safe :) the room was a good size, with plenty of room for both our large suitcases. High ceilings with large windows with a pretty view. Room has AC which is awesome too!

Great value, great comfort, great location!

This accommodation was a hidden gem. Just 50 metres from Republica metro stop, walking distance from Terminii station also, and a lovely saunter from several of Rome's famous attractions. This two room apartment came with kitchenette, lounge room, comfortable bedroom and bathroom. It was one of 6 rooms available and so does not have a service desk/24 hour reception. But when I wanted use of an iron, I left a note in the morning, and one was present when I returned from my conference that evening. Fabulous value for money given the quality of the furnishings, and the location.

Lovely place- would stay here again

Lovely place, lovely room in a good location. The room was decorated nicely, we had the double room with a really nice modern private bathroom. Mini fridge and kettle were a nice touch. The double windows opened for a great view, there is a road to the right of the room we stayed in and I have noticed people have commented on the noise- it isn't very noisy although there is a little noise but if you don't want to hear any noise then a city break in Rome isn't for you- noise is part of being in the centre of a city!! Very close to restaurants, trevi fountain and coliseum only about 15 minute walk away. Daily maid service was brilliant, nice to come back to a tidied room with fresh bedding- the housekeeper was lovely. Couldn't recommend this place more! If I came back to Rome I would definitely stay here again.

Not for business travellers...

I was in Rome on business and stayed at Donna Margherita for 4 nights. While the cleanliness was great, this is more like an Airb&b than a hotel. There is no guest services and no check-in counter. If you forget one of your keys, you won't be able to get back in. Period. The queen size I was expecting was actually two single beds pushed together, windows are letting in a lot of noise so careful you light sleepers out there, and very little amenities (no mini bar, bottled water, clothes iron or bathroom accessories such as shower caps or lotion). This hotel would have been great for a leisure trip. Not so much for business where I was spending more time in the room than out...
