This is a special little hotel where each room is entirely unique, built in an old villa. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed going up to the roof in the evening for a cocktail - really magical up there. It seems to be a hip spot for hip Italian trustafarians - that was the vibe at least. The hotel is in a perfect location to see all of Rome.

Pros: location is amazing! Property is in perfect spot. We had the suite and it was amazing, even had a balcony looking over the plaza. Room was great! The front desk was very helpful, they helped us get cabs and restaurant suggestions and really helped us navigate the city. The breakfast and staff at breakfast is great! Cons. Elevator is small, holds 4 people and they have a nice rooftop bar that’s open to the public so you find yourself waiting a long time to get to your room and it’s 100+ degrees in the elevator. The staff. Not front desk but everyone else. They would cut to get on the elevator and make you wait. Huh!? Many times the staff brining things to the rooftop would cut you off and take the elevator bringing ice, food etc. Maybe they couldn’t tell the difference from people staying and people off the street but they were not courteous at all. Almost rude. I’ve never had hotel staff act like this before, super strange and rude. Not what you would expect from a $1k per night room. Not up to standard for such an expensive stay. We decided to leave 3 days early, tried to get even a partial refund for part of the stay and they were not accommodating in the least and did not give any slack. Very disappointing considering we were told maybe one of the multiple nights would be refunded but after leaving they changed and said no.

Little hotel - lots of luxe touches

The service at this little hotel is amazing - and it’s appreciated when traveling from distance. It’s all charm at this hotel with spacious rooms and amazing bathrooms! The treat of hearing opera music in the courtyard float into your room was about as Italian as it gets! Location does not get better. Right around the corner from piazza Navona - this is the perfect hotel for anyone wanting a little bit of luxe with a lot of convenience.

The room was wonderful with the best split unit a/c you could have for the heat in Rome. The staff, Cristiano Pierre Luiggi, and Manuel are super helpful, friendly and they take care of everything for you. Wish it would have a regular coffee shop for snacks and light meals. The area has a lot of restaurants to choose from and great Gelato stores. Highly recommend the hotel!
