Perfect

Stayed for a week in july with my two daughters and had a perfect holiday. Communication was excellent, got the keys and information in plenty of time. Decided not to hire a car and chris was waiting for us and took us straight to apartment. Spotlessly clean and a really lovely place with everything you need for your holiday. Location is absolutely perfect with two great swimming pools. Very safe and friendy people around. Shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk and the stunning beach just a few hundred yards away. We cannot wait to stay again

Perfect location

Myself, my husband, teenage son, and his friend stayed for 2 weeks in the apartment. Having been to Roquestas many times before, we know the area well and the apartment was perfectly situated and appointed (the tv and 2nd bathroom a must with two 14 year olds in tow!) The large terrace is a real sun trap and was nice to sit on with a cold beer once the sun had gone in the evening. I have to make a special mention of the kingsize bed. The mattress was really comfortable which is unusual in a rental property! The apartment is very close to the beach, tapas bars, and restaurants. It's also a short distance from the bus stop, which was great as we didn't hire a car this year. The larger pool was shut while we were there, but the smaller pool is still a good size and was open from 11am - 9pm. Don't be confused by the sign that suggests it's not open between 3pm and 5pm, it's an old sign and there is an amended, printed sign next to it. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in Al Baida and will hopefully return in the future. Thanks to Steve and Chris

Great stay lovely property.

Property was well stocked and clean, close to the beach on the tourist end of Roqueta. Comfortable beds and couches and TV and internet for the colder nights (visited Feb). Stephen communicated well and information provided was useful. Overall great stay.

Lovely stay in Roquetas De Mar

We had a lovely stay at Steves apartment. It was large & spacious with a really big terrace.Close to all the shops,beach and some lovely restaurants. It was the Spanish holidays whilst we were there which made a great atmosphere in the evening The only downside to the complex was the pool opening times.This however did not spoil our stay .

January 2020 One month stay

Prime location, close to the beach, shops and eating places – especially Nelly’s (a favourite of ours) which is a leisurely walk along the beach. Nice light airy flat which gets the sun from sunrise and through the day. Huge terrace – WOW – gets the sun from early on until sunset. Stephen gave great instructions and information and was really helpful and prompt. Roquetas is a great place in January, lots of places are open. We had a wonderful time; wall-to-wall sunshine for 24 of the 30 days. Only had 2 days of rain and overcast skies, most of it down to Storm Gloria which didn’t seem to do any real damage to this part of the coast, although one end of the beach and a bit of the nature reserve was flooded for a couple of days.

LOVLEY STAY AT ROQUETTS

excellent property for a central base for touring the region apartment has a nice large terrace with table and chairs sun loungers , plenty of restaurants along the beach and in town , up from the gorilla on ave Mediterranean the restaurant's are limited , try Lilly bar ((out of the apartment and turn right pass the pharmacy keep going for 400 YARDS)) ( closed Tuesdays) for breakfast ,or dinner , good food at at reasonable price , or Bouvard Nellie's on the beach side café appx 10 min walk along the beach , alL in all a very nice apartment and Steve was really helpful with the few enquires we had 5*

Lovely apartment close to beach

We enjoyed our stay in Steve's apartment. Its a very spacious apartment with a large balcony and in a great location within Roquetas and would be brilliant for families or a group of 4. It has everything you would need close by and its about 8 minutes walk to the beach. Steve responded to queries we had immediately as we had a hired a car and found it difficult to find the property on the night we arrived. Steve was very helpful in giving us directions which we really appreciated.

Very spacious 2 bed apartment with everything you need loved the large sunny terrace

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment especially the large sunny terrace with loungers nice to relax on after a day out . The apartment was well situated centrally with plenty of restaurants to visit and good supermarkets only a short stroll to beach and promenade we enjoyed hiring cycles which were very reasonably priced and cycled from one end of the resort to the other and a bit further think we cycled around 20 miles with a stop for tapas and a glass of wine. We found the loungers on beach were very comfortable and not expensive.the apartment was very comfortable had everything we needed and would like to visit again. Good contact with owner.We found almeria airport very good not to busy and easy to check in and out .

Just like being at home but with sun!

Lovely spacious apartment with huge south facing terrace. Made all the the better with British TV channels, which came in very handy as we had our dog with us and couldn't really do the pub crawling thing. Nice area, though a little quiet because of the time of year. I would imagine that in the middle of summer it is buzzing. Steve was very accomodating, as were Chris and Lynn who were the local agents and sorted out any minor problems. Lots of little touches to make us feel at home. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Good location for beach, shops,bars and restaurants. Very secure accommodation with locked gates.Good size with fantastic terrace.Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Roquetas.Easy booking process with home away from the start,Steve the owner is always available to answer any queries. We stayed for a week starting the 7th October and the weather was excellent apart from a couple of storms which came and went quickly. The resort is very quiet this time of year with some of the hotels and restaurants already closed down for the winter, but for us the ideal time to visit

Perfect location, close to many bars, restaurants, shops and the beach, yet surprisingly quiet. The huge terrace is amazing and gets the sun all day long. Highly recommended. Steve is ever so helpful too.

Everything you could possibly want in a large comfortable home. Enormous balcony where you can just relax and soak up the sun .excellent communication from the beginning with the owner. Very pretty gardens around the complex pool looked nice and clean but didn't use it as we were extremely lucky with the weather averaging 28 degrees and reaching 39! We spent alot of time at the beach five minutes away. Lots of great bars cafes and restaurants nearby dormillon bar which is directly under the apartment was lovely the management and staff were very friendly and helpful. For a fun night out tropical karaoke bar was brilliant and very reasonable prices. New York New York excellent quality food as was flemengos but as i said absolutely loads of places to go. Would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. In great surroundings many many thanks

Having just returned from 2 weeks of laid back relaxation,we are already contemplating returning to Mr Stephen Chaplin's apartment again next year. The apartment was exactly as described and the en-suite facilities in the 2nd bedroom was a blessing,with a grown up daughter in tow. The grounds and outdoor pools in the complex were well looked after and spotless. Considering the close proximity of bars and restaurants,the apartment was extremely quiet and with the beach within a short stroll,it's location within Roquetas is perfect.
