We recently stayed at here and found our experience to be a mix of highs and lows. The location of our room was truly perfect, situated right on the bay, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The on-site amenities were also very good and added positively to our stay. However, the room we occupied is in dire need of renovation. The bathroom, in particular, felt like it was straight out of a dorm room, which was quite disappointing. When you're spending a significant amount of money and staying with a family, a modern and pleasant bathroom makes a substantial difference. Another notable issue was the paper-thin walls. We could literally hear everything from our neighbors, which was quite disruptive. It really seemed as if these rooms, perhaps once bungalows from the '50s, haven't seen much change beyond a few cosmetic updates since then. Additionally, the in-wall air conditioner was problematic, randomly deciding whether it would work or not, which was a constant frustration. Ultimately, while the location was great. The condition of the room would definitely prevent me from going back willingly.

However, we were disappointed to learn that the hotel wouldn’t honor our resort credit after checkout. We’ve stayed at many hotels and resorts where charging to the room post-checkout was never an issue, so this policy felt inflexible and unexpected. It put a damper on an otherwise great family vacation.

Beautiful bay views, clean rooms with a balcony, and morning coffee overlooking the water. Friendly staff and the Bahia Belle cruise made it extra special. Highly recommend!

The staff here are super friendly, but they've got the game room closed down so you might want to update that. I was done with my shower and there was a p enis drawing on the restroom mirror, so it seems they didn't clean it before. But I do appreciate that the pool was heated, I didn't know until they mentioned it at the front. It was perfect because it was a bit chilly outside. Other than that, everything was great. I'd definitely book again. Thanks!

Unfortunately, our experience at the Bahia Resort was deeply disappointing from the start. Check-in was painfully slow, taking far longer than expected, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. While the beach area and playground were beautiful and well maintained definitely the highlight of the property things quickly went downhill once we got to our room. We had booked a suite with an ocean view, but the reality didn’t match the promise. The bedroom had no air conditioning, making it uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. Our so-called “beach view” balcony was completely obstructed by a large tree, leaving us staring into leaves rather than the ocean. To make matters worse, the furniture especially the sofas was outdated and worn, and the overall condition of the room didn’t reflect anything like what was shown on Expedia. It felt like a completely different place. We were so disappointed that we requested a refund and checked out immediately. While the location has potential, the quality and upkeep of the accommodations were far below expectations. We wouldn’t recommend staying here based on our experience. Gives motel vibes.

Absolutely amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bahia, our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the bay. I definitely would recommend getting a bay view room. The kids love swimming in the bay, and the pool was also a great option. We loved the seal habitat and the very clean and beautiful resort. Perfect location to just walk to Belmont Park and the ocean.

I booked a “Bay View” room expecting a real ocean view, but was disappointed to find it wasn’t what I imagined. When I spoke with the front desk, they told me that only “Bay Front View” rooms have the actual ocean view. This should have been made clearer in the room description. Make sure to read the details carefully before booking.

House keeping refused to give me toilet paper until I call the office even though I been in the room not serviced for 3 days ( my request) so I don’t know how they expect to last 3 days with roll and half ….. when your coming they are nice when your are checking out they are not any more…. They charge me extra at the property ( resort fee) than Expedia said and when show the what Expedia said am going to pay at property a person wasn’t even talking to him said “ Expedia doesn’t tell us how much we charge on our property “ … so I left and am calling Expedia
