For an older motel, it was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy walking to restaurants and the plaza. We felt safe. A little noisy as walls are thin but a great room for the value and location.

We arrived at the hotel and were told the hotel was not pet friendly. The only we booked this hotel is because on Hotels.com it listed it as a pet friendly hotel. Very disappointing. We were unable to stay.

Clean, comfy, close to the Plaza

Service is excellent. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The mini split was great for heat in the room. Customer controls it and it works efficiently and quietly! The bathroom was ok. It was clean an stocked. Better towels and a better shower head would make it wonderful. New shower is nice. That it is possible to walk to and from the plaza easily from this hotel makes El Sendero a great place to stay.

When visiting Santa Fe, this is the place to be or to stay, very clean, staff are friendly, and most of all great location, it’s near all the best part to visit in Santa Fe. Near great dining and the price is affordable. I highly recommend El Sendero inn. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel was perfect for me and had everything I needed. The rooms were large and updated. The bed was super comfortable. There was a mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker and it was two blocks from the town square. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Older motel that's been updated. Easy parking and walkable to the plaza. Rooms are large enough for a table with a couple of chairs. Otherwise, there is only one chair in the room and the only option for another person is sitting on the bed which is a little impractical.

THIS MOTEL GETS RAVE REVIEWS ON HOTELS.COM. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED. ALTHOUGH THE PRICE IS RIGHT AND IT IS VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO THE PLAZA AND WALKABLE TO EVERYTHING, THE CONDITION OF THE HOTEL WAS BELOW AVERAGE. IT IS LOUD (WE WERE RIGHT BY THE STAIRS & COULD ALSO HEAR EVERY WORD OUR NEIGHBORS SAID THROUGH THE RO0M-ADJOINING DOOR), THE BED WAS VERY BROKEN DOWN, AND THE LOCK ON OUR FIRST ROOM DOOR DIDN'T WORK AND WE HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM. THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHINESE RESTAURANT ATTACHED. IT WAS EXCELLENT. IT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST AFFORDABLE PLACES TO STAY NEAR THE PLAZA, BUT IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR COMFORT & QUIET THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.
