Recently purchased and fully renovated in 2019… bringing it back to life! This colonial lake house has amazing history dated back to the late 1700s. We’ve truly fallen in love with its old charm (but new feel) and want to share it with you!

The Garnsey can comfortably hold up to 10 guests with 4 large bedrooms (2 king beds + 2 queen beds + sectional sofa) and 2.5 bathrooms. Wait until you see the master ensuite! Free high speed WIFI access and TVs in each bedroom/living space.

The chef’s kitchen is an open concept layout with a custom island for the whole crew to enjoy meals and time together! Equipped with a dual fuel range, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water/ice, microwave, toaster, blender, pots/pans, dishes, and silverware. You will also have a Keurig coffee maker fully stocked with kcups and teas ready to brew!

The mudroom has an additional refrigerator if needed for drinks or extra food you may want to bring, a front loader washer and dryer, and a custom wash station.

You’ll have a large private beach front just a short (somewhat steep) walk down from the house for fishing, cookouts, or just to enjoy the view. The house’s upper balcony is a beautiful spot to take in sunrises as well! A new seasonal dock will be installed and available from May 15th – September 15th with public access boat launch available just 1.5 miles down the road at Cayuga Lake State Park if bringing/renting a boat.

Another great spot to enjoy is the outdoor cookout area on the paver patio in the backyard with a propane grill, patio set, and chiminea for fires at night.

Contactless check in with combination code access is as easy as it gets! We are local so if anything is needed during your stay, we will do our best to accommodate.

Considerations when booking:

- Route 89 is a busy road and has to be crossed to walk down to the lake shore.
- There are no stairs down to lake shore so the walk down the hill may be steep for some.
- The showers are located on the 2nd story so stairs will be required to shower.
- Main access to enter the house is through the garage.
- Any additional guests require pre-approval.
- No parties/events unless pre-approved.
