Our Recent Stay at the Dorsett

The Dorsett is literally the perfect place to stay for travelers who wish to be proximate to the Changi Airport. It's one simple subway stop from the airport to the hotel. Singapore has an excellent and clean rapid transit system, negating any need for a car. During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations on certain floors. Construction activity was ongoing MON-SAT, 9 am to 3 pm. In that period, it was noisy, but a Singapore traveler should be out exploring during the day, so that's what we did and the noise was not a problem for us. Food services are abundant in an adjacent shopping center only a few footsteps from the hotel. If you prefer to eat in your room, it's equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and complete table settings. There are several bakeries in the shopping center, so we availed that in the morning and brought plenty of delightful offerings to our room before setting out to explore the city. The hotel does have a buffet breakfast available for those who arise feeling hungrier than we did. It looked quite good, but it was more than we needed this time around. I do not recall the pricing of the breakfast.

The room was comfortable and had all the usual room ammenities . Very nice and quiet location. 5 kms from the airport and away from the hustle of Singapore. Huge swimming pool and gym. The place had a few food places to eat and a few bars , perfect to unwind after a long flight. This place was attached to a small array of shops for everyone. The only negative was , no one to greet you at the door or direct you when entering the lobby, That is my only negative, I will certainly recommend to family and friends if all they want is somewhere quiet this is the hotel you want .

It was a perefectbplace to stay. Everything is within walking distance. There is a mall(though most was still under renovation) right outside the hotel, food court and the metro station is literally 2min away. Friendly staff. The housekeeping lady was just so sweet.

Splendid Staff, Great Property

Just a stopover. From the minute i alighted the taxi, I was greeted by a very friendly bell attendant who took our bags and promptly delivered them to our room upon our check-in. Staff were all very polite and well informed. Room was very clean amd comfortable, as advertised. Will definitely stay here in future.
