Really cute hotel. Fun to stay somewhere nice that isn't a chain hotel. Very pleasant staff. They are updating rooms. We booked last minute and assumed had a non updated room and it was clean and cute!! Nice location out of the way but close to Charlotte area.

Loved this place

I read all the reviews before booking this place. Condition, comfort, etc seemed just fine, but almost everyone raved over the customer service. Now I know why. Everyone we encountered couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, and engaging. A special shoutout to Jess behind the bar. This is a very unique hotel for several reasons. But if you are looking for a place to stay for auto racing near Rockingham, or horse events near Southern Pines, or golf at Pinehurst or everywhere else, give this gem a try. You will not be dissappointed!

My main complaint is that it’s a pet friendly hotel which I’m totally fine with we are animal lovers, but the amount of dog poop around the property is gross. We were traveling with our children so they wanted to get out and play… and our first day there I stepped in a huge pile of poop. It’s all over the front grass area. Right along the road where you’d walk.. my other minor complaint is that there was no closet or anywhere to hang anything in our room. We had a very important event to attend that required us to dress up. We had nowhere to put the suits and dresses. Lastly, it’s advertised as a “hot breakfast”, the only thing they offered was waffles, mini bagels or toast that you make yourself. Thursday no breakfast was put out prior to 8:30am. The staff is very kind and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable. The area is very quiet. My complaints I feel are minor but inconvenient and should be addressed to make future experiences better. I would still stay here when visiting the area.

Fantastic stay

I will absolutely stay here again. Service was fantastic. Hotel was clean and quiet. I was across the hall from the lounge but I couldn’t tell in my room. I didn’t have people stomping the floor above me or running down the hall or drunks coming in at 2 am. I had early mornings all weekend and appreciated that. I was disappointed the restaurant was closed but the lady at the front desk gave great recommendations. I will come back and highly recommend it.

We like this hotel because it is dog friendly and so clean. Love the four poster bed. The only suggestion I would make is please get rid of the big desk and floor lamp It makes the room too crowded.
