The location was wonderful and enjoyed views out the window. The room was clean enough, but some deferred maintenance in the bathroom with shower heads leaking causing much water leakage on the floor. Was not happy with the grab and go breakfast that was not really grab and go, because it required us to take the frozen breakfast sandwich back to the room to heat up in the very low watt microwave. We were given faulty information about first shuttle times from the check in staff upon our arrival as well. I think we will look for a different spot next time we visit Zion National a park.

The parking was convenient, just right outside the rooms. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The location was great, right acorss the gear rental and grocery store. We stayed for 3 nights but cleaning service came only once and didn't refill our coffee. We could hear the people upstairs stomping around and dragging their chairs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zion Canyon Lodge. The two receptionists were always friendly and helpful. The lobby provides free beverages and a take-out bag for breakfast: apple, yogurt, bagel and cream cheese—not gourmet-quality food but great for getting an early start at Zion. Each morning, we ate our breakfast in Zion at Grotto, where we enjoyed the view of the canyons from a picnic table. The view from the hotel rooms is magnificent. Don’t be fooled by the rustic exterior of the buildings. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. Note that there is no elevator to the second floor. Since check-in time is 4 pm, we were allowed to park in the parking lot until 4 pm on our departure date. We took advantage by enjoying Zion for an extra morning and afternoon before leaving Springdale.

The reviews I saw for this property had to be highly inflated. Noisy location, extremely over-air freshened (ugh - I am sure I will have a headache tomorrow) and waaaay too expensive for basically a redone budget motor lodge. Also found 3 hairs that don’t belong to us in the bathroom, and a sweet young couple found a bug in their bed. No one available after 9 to help with any of that. Definitely our most disappointing and overpriced stop on a 10 day western trip. Skip this place!

This property provided a nice size room that included a kitchenette with large refrigerator. It was also a close walking distance to the Zion shuttle stop. The only concern I had was when I booked, the website indicated breakfast was included and showed a breakfast room with cereal dispensers and a waffle maker. When we got there they let us know that they provide a “grab and go bag” which included a individually packaged bagel, an Apple, a small yogurt and a individually packaged blueberry muffin.
