Quick getaway

Pros, hotel was very clean, service was good, breakfast good. Shuttle to and from St Augustine very helpful. Cons, location was noisy from traffic. They were supposed to offer a complimentary beverage or room upgrade and they neglected to do so.

It is a hotel for people with dogs. I don’t recommend if u are going with small kids and no pets. There is dog hair everywhere and even a dog bed in every room.

Breakfast is really great and the shuttle is an amenity really appreciated given that the hotel is a bit of a long walk to the historic district. Rooms non-renovated (standard room) is basic. Lacks storage space for luggage. Lacks towel shelving or towel holders for some strange reason - no where to hang used towels. Fridge and microwave both good. Only serious issue is walls very thin. Could hear neighbours nightly. Not a make or break but should know this since hotel is older. If returned would book an upgraded room simply for a bit more comfort and storage.

It was wonderful to have the shuttle take and pick us up from the beach or downtown. The staff is very accommodating. Only downside is the noise from the traffic.

Everything was great! Hotel was convenient and clean, shuttle service to downtown was excellent and greatly appreciated. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The only negative was the breakfast, eggs, sausage, pancakes, potatoes, was not kept warm. Actually, it was cold. But I would definitely stay again.

I loved that it was dog friendly we just got a puppy and didn’t want to leave her with anyone. The room smelled good upon arriving it was nice and clean plenty of towels the bed was comfortable and the pillows were perfect the only bad thing is the shower head it needs to be updated the water was going all over the way it sprayed out
