Pleasantly surprised. For a small town that had limited options it was really nice. It had a wooden lodge feel and look, lots of nice art and good amenities. The restaurant was delicious with lots of options.

We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%
