We had a great time here. We came to ski Heavenly so this was very convenient to the gondola and base village. Room was clean and modern. It was surprisingly quiet with the renovations going on. We ate at the steakhouse and our bartender was accommodating and knowledgeable. Lots to see and enjoy within walking distance.

There were a lot of things wrong with both of the rooms we rented, the phones were not working the lights in the room were not working one of the beds was on one side had collapsed we had rented for two days we stayed one day and left to another hotel. The heater was not working well to. To bad.

I like the location of the hotel. Our room was newly renovated. There was construction going on in some areas but very minimal noise. It was not bothersome at all. I like that it accommodated our 58 pound dog and the view of the hotel pool. Overall it was an excellent stay.

Great overall experience can’t think of even one negative thing to change. Looks like you are adding onto the building with some new renevations. Can believe just some 8 years ago it was a hard rock hotel and casino and now I feel that golden nugget has found their place in South Lake Tahoe.

Toilet flooded at 11:00 pm phone didn’t work so had to walk to lobby to tell them. No one came to fix it until 8am. I had to walk to the casino 3 times to use the bathroom. I was in the 15th floor and had to go to level one to use the bathroom because no cane until the morning
