Overall, we had a good experience and really want to give this property 5/5 stars but can’t ignore some of the negative incidents causing us to only give it 4/5 stars! Staff is mostly friendly/helpful.
Pros:
The location is right on the beach. The beach and sand are lovely and the sunsets are even better! The breakfast was fresh and delicious with open air seating by the beach.

Front desk staff during our check-in needs to be retrained in customer service due to how he handled our situation . He misled us to think that our rooms were in a better location only to find out that the entrance to our rooms faced the street and it was very noisy and loud from all of the honking/truck engines. We had to go back to the lobby to request different rooms and they weren’t next to one another (the hotel does not have connecting rooms in the main bldg). Sergio was very condescending and just didn’t seem empathetiabout changing rooms- even seemed Reluctant to do so but eventually did after pressing the issue.
As far as cleanliness, one of our rooms had dirty sheets in the bed and the bathroom smelled terrible due to poor air circulation.
Lastly, construction took place right next to our room and they left lights on, dirty floors, and open doors all night. On our last day, during the peaceful breakfast area, someone decided to perform cement grinding making a very loud noise for about 20-30 minutes! This could have waited until after the busy breakfast service ends.
