We expected more attention to details from Hilton. Rooms were clean, towels were soft, WiFi was adequate, shower water was very hot, pool and hot tub area are nice, groundskeeping is lovely.
The irritating things were both pre departure and arrival rooms had only one coffee cup for a reservation for two people. There were no water glasses in the room for us to use with the bottle of wine that we brought and so that you can buy the $3.99 (as I remember) bottle of water. Shuttle service to the airport at 6:00 a.m. was great. But upon returning they kept us waiting in an area at the airport that was noisy and stinking of diesel for an hour for "FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE" for a 5 minute ride to the hotel. I registered my disappointment with the desk clerks that night and the next morning and received a canned "I'm sorry, we will talk to them" from both, which appears to be nothing but lip service.
The vending machines on each floor were gone and any food or snacks had to be purchased on the ground floor from the hotel which was not convenient.
I was surprised that they didn't have a complimentary breakfast (cereals, juice, bagels, bananas, apples, waffles, coffee). They charge $18.00 for breakfast buffet and have an omelet station, but after returning from the breakfast buffet at Sandals we did not want to be disappointed further.
I can only feel that my expectations of Hilton Hotels has been lowered and will consider all for my future travels.
