It’s alright. I arrived super late and there were some confusion. I think it had a lot to do with my insistence of using my broken Japanese. If I used English, a lot of things would have been a lot clearer. The room itself was relatively clean, but there were some dirt underneath the amenities dish. The previous traveler probably didn’t use any of those amenities so some dirt got in and were left unnoticed. I do wish the room could come with a hair dryer, but other than that and the typical APA offerings in guest rooms, I can’t really complain that much. The room did came with a free bottle of water, so I do appreciate that.

The hotel is clean and the staff are kind and polite. Early check-in is 2000 yen per hour. There are no laundry facilities at the hotel. Closest option English language friendly option is 7 minute walk. No breakfast facilities also provided at the hotel. Nearest cafes are 5 minute walk away.

The room was small, but reasonable for the price. There were no closets or drawers to keep your clothes in so having to open your suitcase often could be a bit tedious. My two main issues were the bathroom and the room temperature. The bathroom was very small and dare I say uncomfortable when you needed to sit on the toilet. The room temperature was the weirdest part because even though you could adjust it, it often felt too cold when it wasn't set to be, or too hot when it was set at the coolest temperature. This was bigger issue at night when I'd frequently have to completely uncover myself from the blankets because of how warm it felt in spite of being set to the coolest temperature possible. I believe this is more of a common issue in Japan so I can't be too hard on this particular hotel for it. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and I'd consider staying there again during a future trip.

Good Location

The room and bed was spacious for two people. The bed and pillows were too firm for our liking. Location was good, close to some train stations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check out and leave our bags for a few hours before we left the city later.

Clutch Location

APA is aslways convenient and for the price we were in the middle of Tokyo close to everything. Only thing missing that would've made this hotel perfect would've been in-building laundry, all the other hotels we stayed at offered it. Aside from that, great hotel!
