Small hotel with good staff who understand english. Need QR code for storage & retrieval of luggage. Room size is small, complimentary water bottle is only for check in. Room is clean but issue with window as you may accidentally knock it due your sleep. Also there is no ramp as you need to bring your heavy luggage down a flight of stair.

Very small rooms but for the price it is excellent! The bed was really hard, but I am starting to think that is just how the locals like it haha (USA citizen here). Staff was very polite. There is only one washer and dryer for everyone and it was often being used so we weren't able to. Room was well equipped and they supplied fresh towels every day. CANNOT BEAT THE LOCATION! Such a short walk to Senso-ji and a 7-Eleven is right across the street. We loved staying in Asakusa!

The staff provided fresh towels along with coffee and tea and cups every single day. The staff was also very helpful. Overall, thr hotel was good but it was extremely humid inside our room so much so that our blankets and clothes eere damped every day. This situation made for a very uncomfortable stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioner did not help with this matter. We asked the staff on site if there was a possibly for a dehumidifier but they kindly told us that there wasn't.

I had a wonderful experience staying at APA Hotel in Asakusa, which was called 'Asakusa Kuramae' location. It was within easy walking distance: 4 minutes to Sumida river (for jogging), 2 minute walk to 7-11, 9 minute walk to Senso-ji and Asakusa Shrine and the shrine and temple are maybe a 3 minute walk to ROX shopping center and a giant Don Quijote. I recommend using the nearby 200-yen lockers to put your stuff in. Of course you can find train stations entrances on nearly every city block in Aasakusa. Skytree, ueno park, Imperial palace, all are nearby too!

Likes: We were on the 12th floor. They had 1 washer and 1 dryer. Housekeeping came by to replenish amenities. They had free wifi in the rooms and tv connected to netflix and spotify via the “app” button on the remote. Hotel is close to the train station and convenient stores. Our suitcases fit underneath the bed. Dislikes: They only had 1 washer and dryer. So other residents, including myself, would be coming back and forth checking if the washer and dryer were free. The ice machine was out of order but luckily they sell ice at the store. The fridge was underneath the table so we alway had to move the chair to open it’s door. (But i understand that the layout was to utilize unused space). For other travelers info: Depending on where you enter and how many luggages you have, the front entrance near the main road has a lot of stairs while the back entrance does not have any stairs. So coming to the hotel was ok but if your luggage is heavy and you have more than 1, you might prefer leaving through the back entrance. Overall: For the price we paid, this hotel is worth it. I would stay again in any APA chain.
