Appreciation

Parking is done by special parking lot. The first room that I stayed in for the night... After I drop off my stuff to head out for dinner and after I return back to it, it suddenly smell really bad. So I called front desk, they came to check it out and eventually moved me to a different room on a different level in order to compensate the bad smelling room (at the same time they upgraded the room for me too). So, thank goodness for that, otherwise I would have felt sick staying there long (in the bad room). One thing to note as well was why the spa/onsen changing area not always kept clean properly. Other than that, lucky the hotel is with walking distance to the JR train station. The was the good point about this location.

One of the dryers was either not working or clogged. Put my laundry in for an hour, was still damp so I had to hang everything since there was a line of people waiting to use it. Breakfast and service was excellent.

The room was cleaned everyday, although not the most comfy bed they provided 2 pillows and a huge comforter to make up for it! Will be using this property for all my Japan needs

Hotel was terrific its the tourists that make it nit so good. One group from spain used the only 4 washing machines and dryers as like they were at home not leaving 1 for anyone even though there is a line.. Other then that excellent hotel

The room was very not very comfortable. No drawers or shelved to put anything. Cleaning twice a week OK. Staff were fabulous. Very professional. Having only 3 chairs in the lobby a disaster. Closing the Cafe on Saturday & Sunday, horrible. It was 96 degrees outside & having to go out to eat on Sat Sun morning, a disaster. The Lobby staff, very indifferent & somewhat dismissive & rude. I wanted a Print Out of my bill, statement & expenses. They couldn’t do it! Nightmare! No where to sit down & wait. No lounge. What hotel does that? Very clean & efficient & a good location. Amenities are everything!. They charge for Late Checkout after 10am & if your plane is @ 7pm @ night, there is nowhere to sit, stay or eat. Not very Harmonious. Not amenable for Elderly.

the everything about the area was good, the only thing that shocked me was that it was an uphill walk to get to the hotel, maybe about 3 blocks which isnt bad but if u got more then 1 heavy luggage its gonna be a pain to get there

Second time at this hotel because it’s a great location and you get all the basic necessities for a comfortable trip. Would be nice if there were irons provided in the hotel rooms rather than just the trouser presses on each floor.

Having stayed at multiple APA hotels in Tokyo this one had the smallest room, even though booked a superior room. It’s barely enough room for one person and a luggage bag. We are two slim built travellers with two suitcases and two backpacks and it was a shitshow trying to open the bags within inside the room! It should not have been sold as a room for 2. I would recommend booking the double twin room as those appear slightly more spacious. AVOID staying on the 20th floor as it’s the floor with the onsen, vending machine, and the laundry which sees 24/7 traffic (ear plugs are absolutely needed). We tried asking for a room on a different floor but apparently the hotel was totally sold out, all 20 floors. As always staff is otherwise excellent and friendly.
