Very clean, great staff, and an incredible spread for breakfast. It's within walking distance of the train station and fun dining experiences. My 18 year old son loved the area, while i thought it was kind of a younger vibe area.

Awesome hotel! Really big and decent rooms for location. Only things that were a down rating was the check in experience was a bit sterile pretty much done on a self serve machine but wouldn’t ruin your stay and there was no room service so couldn’t order a pre game beer.

Everything about this hotel was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful with whatever needs you may have. Personal example, my wife left her Kindle on the airport bus and they helped me to translate the bus line website to submit a lost n found inquiry. Luckily it was found and we were able to retrieve it with the help of the hotel staff. Also at the hotel you can have your luggage transported ahead to your next destination so you won't have to worry about dragging bags up and down stairs on your trip. Very affordable and convenient. The bedroom was small, but had lots to offer and very comfy bed with a great view of the city. We will be sure to stay here again on our next trip to to Tokyo ✌️

This property is a “must stay” if ever visiting Shinjuku Tokyo. All 5 stars for service, amenities, breakfast buffet and room quality by Japanese standards. The beds were very comfortable and the room sizable for my husband, grown daughter and myself. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal and had a large variety of both Japanese and Western fare. The building is beautiful and brand new and walkable to all areas of Shinjuku! We loved every moment and are grateful to Charlie for getting us off to Kyoto in the end by helping with checking out and transport to Tokyo Station!! I would not hesitate to book this hotel again!

This hotel is AMAZING with a Starbucks on the 1st floor! I stayed in a deluxe King room (36th floor room 3613) and it was spacious with floor to ceiling window and amazing views. Clean and comfortable and great in-room amenities. My only issue is the location, it's walkable to everything, including the train but people are not kidding when they talk about Shinjuku and the evenings. A lot of drunk tourists and locals and homeless problem (even during the day). I never felt unsafe but I also never felt fully comfortable. I was a solo female traveller and never wanted to be out very late. If this hotel were located in Ginza it would be a 5 star plus rating from me.

Our 1st time in Tokyo… 1st time in Japan! Hotel Groove made the experience truly a great one. The views of Tokyo from the lobby is as if we were at the Skytree! Buffet is amazing. Staff and service is amazing. I have nothing but kudos about our room and the hotel.
