Great hotel of your looking for bars. Location is in red light district area so it may be a little less clean. But overall it is a fun area.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a standard Japanese size, which is quite small however as long as you clean as you go you won’t have too much trouble. Compared to western beds they are quite firm and our particular room had the bed on floor, no complaints more just an fyi, I quite enjoyed it. The shower was the main star and was similar to a steam room as well as being nearly sound proof which was amazing if someone is sleeping, accompanied with a small bath which I used after a big day of walking.

Loved the hotel but you should understand that you're going to be in what may be the scuzziest part of Japan. The night life was awesome so it was a love-hate relationship for us.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is walkable to all the things you need to do in the area along with being close to Shinjuku station. We were able to rest well while we spent our days out and about. We will definitely be staying here again.

A nice new hotel in Kabukicho area Shinjuku. The room has a nice layout. Small luggage can fit under the bed. Enough space to put bigger luggage near the door. The bathroom is clean and has a bathtub area adjacent with a shower in the side. Ten minute commute to shinjuku station and 5 minutes away to Oedo line station. Staff were nice and helpful.

Our stay at HOTEL AMANEK Shinjuku-Kabukicho was pleasant. Cannot say enough great things about the staff and how accommodating they were throughout our stay. The rooms were cozy but expected that prior to arriving. Would choose the queen over the japanese king for more room. The shower head was awesome. Rooms clean, bed and pillows comfortable. Definitely would recommend this hotel and plan on staying there again.

The room is small but that's to be expected in Tokyo. The toilet is quite spacious though and you get a small fridge which is handy to have. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the location is fantastic. Recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel for one week. The room was larger than I expected it to be and was perfect for two people. The location was convenient for exploring all of Tokyo, also there is lots of nightlife near by. If you are thinking about booking this hotel don’t hesitate.

Rooms too small, pillows terrible, no storage space for luggage. No storage for equipment on site / skis etc Breakfast - ran out of food constantly. Staff not replenishing in a timely manner / slack. We had a king room but didn’t realise it was a matress on the floor. The room is as i expected for japan was small but due to everything being at floor level the small room just seem magnified. The rest of my family had twin room which while small were much more manageable. The property is new which was nice. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.

Small room

The room is clean but the room size is very small. You cannot even open 1 luggage comfortably (the luggage will literally occupy all the available floor space). No cabinet for your clothes, they just provided a hanging rod with limited clothese hanger. There's fee to request for extra clothes hanger. The toilet is clean with bathtub. They only provide room cleaning once every 3 days.
