The room was very different from the pictures I saw on Expedia. It was "extremely" small, not very many charging outlets, things were broken and we discovered they don't clean daily or give you the option. You have to put your dirty towels and rubbish outside your door daily and every 3rd day, they would do a thorough cleaning. One time, they forgot to clean so I had to call them but they still did not vacuum my room. Another time, they forgot to replace my towels but when I called them later in the night after returning from dinner, I HAD to go down to get them, no one would bring it up to us. Only 4 hangers, no other hooks and hallway to bed is so small, difficult to lay out your suitcase, let alone suitcases. No water in room, any amenities in the lobby. All other hotels we stayed at in Japan, they at least provided us with 2 bottles of water daily. Hotel is so crowded, piled up suitcases in the front and although staff tried to be helpful, they could only do so much. Location was good but I would NEVER stay here again. For the price we paid, I could have had better accommodations and service a bit further away, took a cab to the places and still paid out same in the end. I am surprised to discover that it's part of a BW chain.

The KOKO hotel was good for our needs, We have a 14 year old and a week in Tokyo so we really wanted something with a decent size room, which this had 30 msq The staff are nice, but it’s a busy hotel with high turnover so I don’t feel like they are super caring about each guest, definitely not rude in any way just trying to be efficient. We had 4 coat hangers for 3 of us and were told no more very firmly. The laundry room is available on the 3rd floor, you pay to use washer and dryer it was fine but obviously quite time consuming to go get washing and drying done going backwards and forwards and hoping no one jumped in on your load. Honestly yes it was a little inconvenient but it was great to clean clothes after traveling for 2 weeks. They clean every 3rd day but you can change towels by putting them outside and they take rubbish too. It was clean and the bathroom and shower and bath tub were all good and worked well. They have a kettle and a fridge in the room. We paid about $100 Aus dollars for late check out at 5pm because our flight doesn’t leave until 10pm which I think is a good option if you want to use the shower and amenities and wifi until you leave.

The location is great if you are into Sushi or Seafood items. It's location next to the most famous sushi restuarant in Tokyo - Sushi Dei. We just love going to that place for the best sushi experience we have ever had!

The hotel is right across from the famous Tsukiji market where you can find and eat the all the Japanese delicacies you’ve seen on YouTube. Also 20 meters from the hotel is a ramen shop and a restaurant. There’s also a family mart and a Sukiya nearby. The Ginza shopping district is walkable but I suggest taking an Uber or a cab (download Taxi Go app) after shopping. The staff were friendly and the rooms are spacious for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The free breakfast is so worth it to get your day started. I highly recommend this place!
