It's right across from Shinagawa station, so the convenience factor is definitely there. The room we had was small, which is par for the course of most Japanese hotels. There was a bay window that was nice and the beds were comfortable.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
We got the "light breakfast" as an add on, but only used it one day of our week-long trip. Hard rolls, cold sausage, and spaghetti was the "breakfast". We had a cup of coffee and a sausage and noped out pretty quick.
Back to the room, it was nice except the entry. No light! Like at all. So when you come in or leavae and put your shoes on you really can't see a thing. The window is blocked by a pillar that narrows around the bathroom. Good luck moving around in the dark. We tried opening the bathroom door to get some light, but it opens against the main door and blocks what little light there is. Annoying.
