Loved my stay! My solo room was very compact, but did the trick. A walk to Shinjuku station, and a hop skip and a jump tothe Metropolitan Government Building and the free observatory and the light show at night. Lots of easy reasonably priced restaurants in the basement level and two convenience stores. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel (but doesn't pick up until 9:30 am for Haneda unfortunately). There is a very helpful information desk on the first floor. A great place!

Rooms are old and walls are thin that you can hear people talk in the hallways. Check in is inefficient with self check in kiosks that required staff assistance. Staff wanted those in line to wait for a staff member even though kiosks are open. Couple people who did not wait in the long line were able to sneak in and use the kiosk without assistance. Hotel is in an old building with restaurants and family mart. We ate at one of the restaurants for convenience, but it wasn’t good. Needs renovation

I enjoyed

It was a really decent sized room and clean! Could put suit case under bed which means it wasn’t cluttering the floor. Spacious bathroom. Has an air con and also a room heater is needed. Bright space. Can request more pillows if needed!

We have stayed at the Shinjuku Washington hotel before. The rooms are clean but compact. The location is good and we like the fact the airport limousine busses pick up right outside the hotel.

The breakfast buffet at the top floor was delicious and had a beautiful view! We really enjoyed starting each day with this. The room was quite small, but that was expected. The location was nice for getting around Tokyo.

Compact clean room, great security and shops onsite:lawsons,family mart along with other food options. Free luggage storage before check in and after checkout. Across street from metropolitan building. Easy walk from train/subway from shinjuku station or tochomae subway station.
