nice location on the harbour

Pros: that breakfast, waffles and a light meal was included. Reception very kindly found us an extra duvet as it was chilly during our stay
Location: located on the harbour easy walk to the shops and restaurants
We really enjoyed our stay and saw the northern lights from the harbour. We took a taxi from the airport which was around 200 NOK, and the journey was less than 15 minutes. Check in very easy, and we got a room overlooking the harbour itself which was very nice. The rooms are comfortable, and even though ours was smaller than some others we saw it was not overly small. Nice shower, large TV etc, and comfy bed. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the evening meal included in the price, and given the high prices in Norway this saved us a considerable amount of money. - A large pizza and 1 coke nearby was 25 pound. The soup and bread was nice each night, and then as a hot main there was 1 item during out trip we had fish, chicken, pork and beef. Also a salad bar, coleslaw and sauces. Hot drinks and water included at dinner. Sweet available at extra cost as well as drinks from the bar. Breakfast also included and nice spread of breads, cereals and a few hot selections like fried+ scrambled eggs, bacon etc, also fruit juice.

Perfect Weekend

Fantastic hotel, staff and location excellent and a massive bonus that an evening meal is provided free, also hot drinks throughout the day and afternoon waffles.

Brilliant Location

Brilliant location, and to include all day beverages and fruit, plus afternoon waffles and an evening buffet meal saves loads of euros. Also, I needed to cancel the first night due to a flight delay, and they repaid without any hesitation - brilliant!

great hotel, well situated

Very impressed, clean, comfortable and the attic rooms had great views across the bay. Only niggles, would have liked a safe in the room and food could be kept hotter on the buffet meals. Otherwise its a bargain considering breakfast and evening meals are included in the price. Centrally located so very convenient for the bars , restaurants etc. Would definatly use again.

Awesome experience

Centrally located, right next to the harbour. Saw the northern lights from my room as it was harbour view. Breakfast, snacks and dinner are included in the room tariff. The staff is very helpful. the rooms are clean. The Polar Bear at the reception makes a good background for a picture :) Highly recommended.

Das Hotel ist schön am Hafen gelegen und gut mit dem Bus vom Flughafen aus zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind schon ein wenig abgenutzt, aber alles in allem sehr gemütlich. Gut gelegen für einen Städte-Trip und aucheine der Stationen wo mann für Ausflüge abgeholt wird ist gleich in der Nähe.

A German born receptionist just wonderful. Superb breakfast in the next door Aurora. Evening meal a great surprise as well. And the sauna- so relaxing. If only the elevator would have worked….
