I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Dirty comforters, floors, bathtub, noisy air conditioner. Very poor & ragged place.

Mixed bag

One of the beds had a few small stains looked kind of like blood. There was a dead tarantula at one of the exits. Other than those, breakfast was delicious, check in/out process was easy and I didn’t get fought on the pet charge since my dog is a service dog. They were accommodating and the room itself other than sheets was clean.

Responsive staff, reliable breakfast, acceptably quiet, wifi worked, heating and a/c worked, and believe it or not, that put this property above the competition. Add to that a reasonable price without gross algorithm shifts. I recommend this place, and I will be back.

Clean room. It appears the hotel is undergoing renovations so some of the facilities were not completely restored. It was ok though because it was comfortable and clean and breakfast tasted good. Good value for cost.

Staff was very pleasant but the hotel was in dire need of repair. I took a towel off the shelf to dry after a shower and got covered in wet drywall from the ceiling that was crumbling from a leak from the room above. Manager said that they couldn’t give me a refund because I had booked through a third party. Other parts of the room were also needing maintenance.

For the most part, it was a good experience. Entire area was mostly clean...and I arrived at 3 p.m. Staff was very friendly. Check in was very smooth as I had pre-registered. Only a few things I had issues with, and some of those could not be helped. Problem issue numbers one and two...nothing can really be done to correct. 1. Tucumcari is beginning to go the way of so many New Mexico Towns....businesses closing. I had intended to eat at two different restaurants here that are out of business....one for dinner, one for breakfast. Went out to dinner and had to find a different one to go to, and, found out the one I wanted for breakfast wasn't around anymore either. Plus, because of how many businesses are closing up around here, had to drive a long way just to find them. 2. This building is older. A new face has been applied, and as much as possible fixed....but I have been in construction all my life, as a plumber, but have also built 17 homes and sold them all myself. So the fixes were somewhat disturbing in some cases, done well in others but because the bones are bad, it shows through the attempts to repair. For instance, the bathtub in room 108. It has had a resurface done. I almost fell through the soft spot in it when taking a shower. Issue number 3 is more a preference, I guess. It may or may not be able to be repaired. 3. Most indoor pools are heated. I'm 62. I enjoy swimming a few laps at end of day. In an air conditioned room you have an unheated pool. BRRRRR

The room was very nice but unfortunately the housekeeping was terrible, there was a lot of dirt and dead bugs along a wall, they were all dead and didn’t see any alive, just wasn’t cleaned properly.
