I showed up for my booking & I it turned out I was booked for Saturday NOT Friday night like I planned. Since I was a day earlier than the Four Seasons had expected me they had no rooms. The clerk…who was sitting in the lobby eating chips when she saw me get out of my Uber, yet stayed seated while watching my Uber drive away while saying to me “Sorry we’re booked.”
I’m a Disabled Veteran who’d been at the VA Hospital ER right before going to Four Seasons. I had called & spoken to this very clerk asking if they had a room because I was at the ER was being discharged & needed somewhere to go She said they had rooms, it was not a problem. Yet when I showed up 15 minutes later, she said she thought I meant I needed a room that night since it was already 3 AM. I told her “No, by that time, I’d be at my own home. I called from the ER saying I needed a room because I was leaving the ER & needed somewhere to go.” She was nice, polite, but obviously a little ditzy. She also didn’t cancel the reservation for the incorrect night. So here I am months later STILL trying to get a credit back to my credit card for the $306.37, because THANK GOD I always purchase the insurance since I’m a 100% Disabled Veteran & I never know when something will happen with my health. Though this should be credited because their clerk was just incompetent and lazy.
