The rooms were dated but clean. It was hot in the room all night. The breakfast was good we enjoyed it. The common areas are nice and updated. Zermatt is a must do!

Hotel Continental at Zermatt.

The room smelled like sewage. Poor ventilation. Water doesn’t drain well in the sink. Carpet was dirty and stained.

Great hotel, hope to stay again!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and exceeded my expectation. The cleaning staff were immaculate. Clearly all the staff cares about the hotel and it really shows. Room was smallish but had tons of built in storage and it was more than ample as a solo traveller. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great location, with an easy walk from the train. Right in the heart of Zermatt. We appreciated the storage room and boot warmer/dryer, as we were skiing. However, the free breakfast was very basic, and the woman who manages the breakfast room was difficult to deal with (reminding everyone 5-10 minutes before the breakfast closed, even though we'd been there every day and knew the closing time.) She hovered a bit and was not friendly. The bigger concern for us was lack of coffee maker in our room. This made it necessary to go down three floors just to get a cup of coffee every morning, but we thought no problem, we'll do it. Turns out - that IS a problem. We were told we could not leave with a cup of coffee and there were no "to go cups." This was very frustrating and inconvenient.
