We have made the decision to retire ebookers and its BONUS+ programme in Finland. On 2nd September 2026, the ebookers website and app, BONUS+ programme and its benefits are ending in Finland. We’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Rest assured, any existing and upcoming bookings and trips will not be disrupted. 

 

What to expect:  

For upcoming trips with ebookers.fi: 

  • You will still be able to modify or cancel your existing bookings on ebookers. For further information see FAQ section below. 
  • You will continue to have access to your ebookers.fi Trips page.   
  • Once all trips have been completed and serviced, we will close access to your booking history, the ebookers.fi website and app.  

 

For new trips with ebookers.fi:   

  • You can continue to book trips as usual. However, new trips booked on ebookers from the 12th June 2026 up to 2nd September 2026 need to be completed on or before 1st November 2026. This update covers all travel options, including hotels, flights, car hire, packages, and activities.   
  • Beginning 2nd September 2026 all new hotel bookings will be directed to Hotels.com, part of our family of brands alongside ebookers. Hotels.com is a leading travel booking platform, offering a wide selection of places to stay around the world. ebookers will no longer accept new bookings of any type from 2nd September 2026 — including flights, car hire, packages, or activities. 

 

If you are a BONUS+ member on ebookers Finland, here’s what you need to know:  

  • You can continue to earn and use BONUS+ rewards and your membership benefits on ebookers Finland up to 2nd September 2026. After this date, you won’t be able to earn or use BONUS+ rewards or membership benefits on ebookers Finland on new or existing bookings, and any changes to existing bookings will not incur BONUS+ rewards.  
  • We would encourage you to use your BONUS+ balance before 2nd September 2026.   
  • If you still have rewards remaining from 2nd September 2026, we’ll automatically convert the full value of your BONUS+ balance into a Hotels.com2 coupon that can be used to book on hotel stays on Hotels.com, a leading travel booking platform offering a wide selection of places to stay around the world.  
  • Each coupon has a maximum value of 300 Euro. If your BONUS+ balance is higher, you'll receive additional coupons to cover the full value.  
  • Your coupon will be single‑use, and only one coupon can be applied per booking. It doesn’t apply to taxes or fees.   
  • Your coupon will be valid for 12 months from the date it's issued.   
  • You’ll receive your coupon code via your registered email address by 9th September 2026.

You’ll receive your coupon in the form of a code via your registered email address.

Is ebookers closing?

On 2nd September 2026, the ebookers website, app, BONUS+ programme, and its benefits are ending in this country. We’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. Rest assured, any existing and upcoming reservations and trips will not be disrupted. ebookers BONUS+ members, will have up to 2nd September 2026 to use their rewards. Any outstanding rewards balance on 2nd September 2026 will be converted into a coupon for Hotels.com that will be sent to you in the form of a code to your registered email address.

What will happen to my BONUS+ tier and rewards value?

You can use your BONUS+ on the ebookers Finland website and app until 2nd September 2026 at which point, if you have active rewards in your BONUS+ account, we will automatically convert your remaining BONUS+ rewards into a Hotels.com coupon at their full value. Your current BONUS+ tier will end and won’t be carried over to Hotels.com.

What will happen to my ebookers account on 2nd September in Finland?

Rest assured, any existing and upcoming reservations and trips will not be disrupted. Beginning 2nd September 2026, all new hotel booking activity will be directed to Hotels.com. You will still be able to access your ebookers Finland account and Trips page after 2nd September 2026.     

Until 2nd September 2026, you can cancel or update your booking using self service on the Trips page, by chatting with our virtual assistant, or by contacting Customer Support. 
After this date, our Customer Support team or virtual assistant will be happy to help. To modify an upcoming reservation, you can reach out to our Customer Support team at matkailu@customercare.ebookers.fi, & phone at +358 9 7252 2175, 07:30–16:30 CET (Monday–Friday only)  

Once all trips have been completed and serviced, we will close access to your ebookers Finland account, booking history, the ebookers Finland website, and app.  Your ebookers account won’t be moved to Hotels.com. If you’d like to keep booking on Hotels.com, you can simply create a new account there. 

As a BONUS+ member:   

You can continue to earn and use BONUS+ rewards and your membership benefits on ebookers Finland until 2nd September 2026.  After this date, any changes to existing bookings will not incur BONUS+ rewards.   

On 2nd September 2026: 

We will convert any remaining BONUS+ rewards over at their full value to a coupon for Hotels.com. Your current BONUS+ tier will end and won’t be carried over to Hotels.com. You have the option to create a new account on Hotels.com. Membership is free. 

Do I need to have a Hotels.com account to use the coupon in exchange for my outstanding BONUS+ amount?

You do not need to have a Hotels.com account to redeem your coupon. The coupon will be in a form of a code that you enter during the checkout at the time of booking on Hotels.com.

What is the expiry date of my coupon?

Your coupon will be valid for 12 months from the date it's issued.

What will happen to my BONUS+ benefits?

All the benefits of the BONUS+ program, including the travel activity reimbursements and the priority phone line will end on 2nd September 2026.

Can I split the use of my coupon over multiple bookings?
