"Pesäpallon Itä-länsi -tapahtuman takia Kouvolan hotellien hinnat olivat tapissa, joten oli järkevämpää tyytyä vajaan vartin päässä sijaitsevan Kuusankosken tarjontaan. Odotukset eivät olleet kovin korkeat "vain" kolmen tähden hotellin suhteen, mutta tämä hotelli ylitti kaikki odotuksemme. Respa tosin ei ole auki 24h, ja käsittääkseni jo sen takia tähtiluokitus ei voi olla tuon korkeampi. Aamupala oli suorastaan erinomainen, huone tilava sekä siisti ja palvelukin ihan viimeisen päälle. Päivälämpötilat olivat pyörineet 30 asteen kummallakin puolella jo muutaman päivän ajan, ja hotellista tuli aamulla sähköpostiin varoitus, jonka mukaan valitettavasti huoneissa ei ole ilmastointeja/viilennyslaitteita, mutta huoneista löytyy pöytätuulettimet. Pelon sekaisin tuntein kirjauduimme sisään, mutta kuinka ollakaan huoneessa oli kuitenkin irrallinen jälkiasennettu ilmastointilaite, jolla sai huoneen viilennettyä haluttuun lämpötilaan. Hinta/laatusuhde oli kaiken kaikkiaan erinomainen."
