We were there for 5 days and I asked for housekeeping and they never did clean the room and on the 3rd day found a tick in my pillow so I asked for house keeping to go in and clean they still didn't do it. Will not stay here again.

The room was clean but the bathroom had jacuzzi tub that was moldy. They should not have that tub. It was gross. The breakfast was average better than nothing I guess. What bothered me the most was the area. There were homeless people and it just didn’t feel safe. I would not stay there again. The pictures depict a nice location. It is not! There really isn’t anywhere to eat either except for a Whataburger that had an armed guard at the door. Had I not had a non refundable reservation I would not have stayed.

This La Quinta was a great place to stay for our family of five! We asked for extra bedding for our daughter to sleep on the sofa in the room, and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast and thought the hotel was a really lovely and well-decorated place. I enjoyed sitting outside on a bench in the morning for a work meeting before we hit the road again!

Area for the dogs was a patch of dirt surrounded by a concrete walkway. It looked like a patio area for people rather for dogs. There was a party in the hallway outside our room until around midnight. The rooms were just around the corner from the front desk and no one from the hotel intervened. The noise upset our dog and kept us awake.

Renovated recently? Ha! No way.

I have probably stayed at this hotel since 2015 around 20 times, at least. The last 2 times have been disappointing. The flush handle on the toilet is VERY hard to work causing me to have to remove the lid and use the metal rod to flush the toilet. Simple fix but apparently it has been reported and nothing done. One of the queen beds, on one side, has broken springs which is obvious when sitting on the edges and makes loud noises when turning over. Totally unacceptable and it needs to be trashed. Breakfast is a shadow of what it use to be. Only the bare minimum is offered. The entire property is covered in dog feces and receives no attention from management. I can't believe the city doesn't address this unsanitary health issue or upper levels of LA Quinta management. I will be going elsewhere on my future trips to Albuquerque.

I enjoyed the Newly Renovated rooms, quite impressive and nice.. Disliked that the Hot Tub was out of order and breakfast was very limited. Breakfast attd tried her best to refill the food but everything was gone in a matter of time.

Amazing staff and I liked the fact that they call you to let you know about the 250$ fee for smoking even though it’s in the room and all over the building. Highly recommend staying here
