Bad start but great hotel

We weren't sure of distance to the city and requested the price of a taxi in and out. The receptionist didnt know but didnt try find out for us either. Was a bad start for us. Other than that tho hotel is really nice

Nice location, nice rooms, nice bathtub. WiFi is really bad at least it was in my room. Also it is a non smoking hotel and people were definitely smoking in the rooms which made it hard to sleep. Pool area is great! Iā€™m sure people in other rooms may have had a different/ better experience.

Friendliest staff and comfiest beds

On arrival we were greeted with smiles, the receptionist was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed. The hotel is a short walk from a tram stop and you can easily get to all attractions and the city from here. The hotel lobby and bar are clean and inviting. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. The rooms are quite spacious and have very comfortable beds and the fluffiest pillows ever. We didnt use the pool or gym but these did look good. We would stay here again.

The decor, cleanliness, facilities and staff were all excellent. I found it to be really good value for money. The only thing I would say is the breakfasts seemed a bit steep but we chose to eat breakfast elsewhere so wasn't a problem. We'd definitely stay here again!!

Very comfortable stay.. breakfast was awesome and various options for veg and non vegetarian.. only thing which I would suggest to improve is on additional souna charges which I was expecting to be free and included in daily rate.

Overall an excellent stay, marred by a cancelled spa session. Had booked in person for 10am, scheduled our day of leisure around it and was cancelled unapologetically and without explanation at 8am by phone that morning (waking us up). Hotel staff were lovely in general, breakfast was worth the Ā£.

I did not get to stay in the hotel. I suffered medical condition 5 weeks before. Tried to get either a refund or a credit and they refused. I offered to send a doctors note but they didnā€™t want to bend. I donā€™t recommend dealing with them.

The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough. The music bar on the top floor was a lovely place to relax in the evening. Martin and Michelle how worked there most nights made you feel welcome and never without a drink.

Most staff were very friendly and professional. Nice looking interiors - bars, foyer, etc. Not especially handy for "main" parts of Amsterdam but equally not at all difficult to travel in, either on foot or tram or taxi.
