Good

It was a nice and clean hotel, the staff were really nice, the breakfast had a wide selection. The room was just really small, and did not have space between the twin beds. It was also really loud outside, even though we were on the 5th floor, we could hear all the cars and people speaking!

The hotel was in a great location for me only 15 mins walk from Syntagma square. I was concerned about the area and showed my concerns to the staff , but too be honest it was perfectly fine as the staff had told me, as in all cities just be careful and sensible. Breakfast was good a decent start to the day. Can't fault it at all. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was great! Central location, which makes convenient to access public transport. Only downside is that walking around the area at night didnt feel like the safest thing to do, although nothing happened either.

Good deal for a short stay

It was short stay for us for a few hours. The room was nicely structured with a small kitchenette however the room was not very clean. We managed as we only had to stay for few hours however I would say it was a good deal for the price! The location of the hotel is about 20 mins walk to spots like syntagma square, plaka etc.

Bad neighborhood

Close to a subway station and a 30 min walk from the acropolis however in a bad part of town with sketchy people roaming the streets. The window of our room was made from basically cardboard, could hear everything happening on the streets outside ; yelling from people under the influence, honking for hours without end. Some people tried to enter our room at midningt with banging and trying our door. Couldn’t sleep all night. The hotel is pretty nice and the staff is kind but really not worth the part of town it is situated in.

Hotel is located in a super central part of Athens. Metro is less then 10 minute walk, and the Plaka is also less then 20 mins walk. There is also a hop on hop off bus stop near the metro. The area, like other reviews will mention, is a bit rough. It’s easy to navigate if you stick to the main streets. I wouldn’t recommend walking alone late into the night. We walked too and from the hotel in the evening and had no issues- it’s more just unsettling if you are not used to seeing such things. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The room was great for the value.

K29 stay

A lovely little hotel in a great location. Rooms are modern and clean with superb facilities. But the best thing is staff. From Evengelos who checked me to the night manager and young lady who was at breakfast service. Truly wonderful people. Next time in Athens I will check this hotel first😊

The location and facilities are good, but there are homeless people and drug addicts on the next street, and the window glass is not isolated, which makes it very noisy!

We refunded our booking through Expedia as this was unsatisfactory. 1. They advised parking and when we got to the property we had to park in an underground dirty lot for 10euro per day. 2. The rooms were smaller than advertised with no kettle, no water no dishes as advertised. When we enquired hotel said they removed due fire hazard. Miss information. 3.The location had a lot of homeless persons and unsafe. Will not recommend. Very disappointed.

*IMPORTANT NOTE* The area around this hotel is not safe or clean. Either this is the same for the whole of Athens or just this area but there were always people on drugs in the streets making a mess and a scene with many areas smelling of wee and trash. In addition there were a lot of homeless people on some of the streets in the area, with some having whole camping sites set up with small communities with many if not all of them constantly on drugs. Not safe, and definilty not settling... Also loud people at night in the streets. The staff were great, I was very happy when they helped me with my Internet issue with my room. The breakfast selection was great, offering a very broad range of food. The gym facilities was nice, offering a nice view on the 8th floor. The room was great and for the first time, I was actually able to use the AC to make my room colder! Very impressed!
