From the warm welcome by staff from the moment you enter (thank you Nisa, Nikos and team), this felt like the most comfortable place to stay in Greece. The hotel is ideally located, attractive and very clean, and my room felt more spacious than usual hotels. Breakfast was delicious, promptly served and fairly priced. The aptly named Gem is a total winner.

Excellent value and location

The location is incredible. Walking distance to everything - including most of the trendy bars and restaurants. Bed was so comfy and the shower pressure fantastic. Having a balcony was a great way to wind down in the afternoon and escape the sun for a bit. Really nice staff.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, being just a short walk away from all the major tourist attractions and the shopping square. We loved our stay as it was within walking distance to most sights. We had a room on 6th floor with a veranda which was perfect for a drink before bed. Breakfast first class. Bed very comfortable, bathroom and shower first class with beautiful Greek toiletries. I actually went across the road to the local pharmacy and bought some to take home. Good air con which was def appreciated. Would recommend.
