You get what you paid for. The sheets weren’t clean. The room smelt like an old hotel that needs to replace the carpet or just tile the rooms. Good? The water pressure…and location were good. Reception staff friendly.

Never staying at a La Quinta again!!!

Due to this experience I will never stay at a La Quinta again. The room was dirty and roach infested. There was a colony of roaches on the back of the t.v. I was quickly packed up my things and picked them up off the ground. I called the front desk to request a room change and the Front Desk agent immediately said to just come down, she didn’t ask what was wrong. When issuing me a new room I had to ask her if I could at least tell her what was wrong with the room. After a I explained she issued me a new room and said that this room was cleaned today (as opposed to what? Putting a guest into a dirty roach infested room?). The new seemed okay but the next day I saw another roach. I was tired and frustrated and didn’t want to deal with another room change so I stayed. On the 2nd day there was a leak in the ceiling and I had had enough. I didn’t expect a 5 star resort but I did expect a clean working room. So I did the only logical thing and checked out a day early. Despite all of the issues during my stay the front desk said that I needed to speak to a manager if I wanted a credit. The only saving grace was the manager agreed to credit me for the one day since I checked out early. Worst experience ever!

We checked into our room with no issues. The staff at the feont desk was very friendly. Our 1st issue was the parking. Parking was a seperate entity than the hotel apparently. The issue was that you are forced to use their parking. We checkednin on a friday and was told thatnit is valet parking only on the weekends. Self parking was only available during the week. This was a ridiculous charge of over $50 a day. Then the real issues happened when we entered our room. The place smelled terrible. The pull out couch was covered in cigarette burns. It looked like a dog or cat had clawed a huge hole in it. There were open beer cans left in the room. Which still had beer in them. My niece pulled the rolling chair away from the dest to sit in it and said "eeewwww whats that?" When i looked at the chair, it was filthy. Covered in hair, and what appeared to.be dried up poop and adult bodily fluids. Then we saw what looked.like poop stains on the wall behind the desk. As i went back to the desk to talk to the staff, my wife texted me pictures of roaches in and on the dresser. I showed the desk worker pictures and told her what was going on. She called houskeeping to ask if the room had been cleaned. They answered yes. When the lady told housekeeping what i had told her and had pictures of, i could hear the houskeeping staff raise their voice. I couldnt hear exactly what they were saying, but i had a good idea it wasnt favorable towards me. However, the lady appologized and refunded us.

Unfortunately as many people before me i was not happy with my stay. I’ve seen reviews but hoping if the room will be at least clean i can make it through 2 nights. I was wrong. The first room i got assigned to was a complete mess with mattresses and bed frames lying around the room. I was told it was under construction. I was given another one and as soon as i stepped in i realized it will be a very depressing stay. Bathroom was dirty, toilet bowl was dirty after someone used it and did not flush, bathtub dirty, no hot water in the shower, bed sheets had dark spots on it as long as curtains, carpet. One nightlight was not functioning. The territory / long dark hallways seem pretty sketchy to walk alone at night, doors separating one wing from another was not always locked. I stayed one night and then i moved to another hotel. I believe the staff does everything they can, but as a big chain Wyndham is the owners should invest more into basic maintenance. Especially when the location is so great.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty, toilet not working, cockroaches on hallway and not to talk about the parking not being free. End up staying only one night even though I pay two prefer to leave than get a disease there AVOID AT ALL COST
